Sure I'd be happy to trade him a Canadian plate for a plate from Florida. I know that I have some Ontario plates, of course but I might also have an extra one from British Columbia. I have old Ontario plates and newer ones, which would he prefer to have :confused3

I'm thinking the kitchen will win out this time. We still haven't gotten anybody to come out and have a look and give us some ideas and an estimate yet. I guess I better call someone.

Maybe we could do some of the stuff ourselves but my husband really doesn't like to do that stuff and I can only do so much on my own. We probably will end up just getting someone else to do most of it.

:woohoo: :woohoo: Whens the next tape, Whens the next tape :woohoo: :woohoo:

The next recital is at the end of June and then if I take a summer class again, there will probably be a recital at the end of August for the class.

So I guess the end of summer there will be new dance DVD's to critique.

Colleen, I received the package with the DVD's and the goodies. Thanks to everyone for the oh so kind words about my dancing ( I know it really sucked but heck I was really really brave to get up on that stage  )

I will be forwarding the box with the extra goodies on to Kim in the next few days. :smooth:

Umm, I agree with tinknutt, very carefully.

Maybe you need a bigger vehicle or some kind of moving service to ship your stuff to the new address for you :confused3

Just popping in again...ZJO Threadkillers!

I'm happy both packages made it. Tink, you opened your home to my family, alls I did was buy you a pin ;) Robin, did you pick out something new for yourself? That's the whole idea of putting in new stuff with each go round ;)

Ophie, how long do you have to move your stuff? Would it be more feasible for you to just rent a uhaul?

 Hi everybody else...I'm home tomorrow so I'll be checking in quite often (I hope ;) )

Well, I don't have to move it all now. So it's really a matter of deciding what goes now and what waits.

Hey everyone.. I got a very nice letter from DeVaughn's teacher today! I was so proud of my baby!! I even got teary eyed when I read the letter!!!

I'm going to type out the letter for you all to read because I would like to share my proudness with you all! :goodvibes

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Freeman,

I wanted you to see this wonderful story that DeVaughn wrote during Writers Workshop. He has three sentences on each page. We are working on "Writing for Readers" and he has added very good details and used descriptive words. I am so very proud of him. I took him to the office and had him read his story to Mrs. Horne(principal), Mrs. Shultz (vice principal), Mrs. McDaniel, and Mrs. Barton. They all bragged on his excellent writing. Mrs. Horne gave him a sticker. I also had him read it to his classmates during our shared reading time and they all clapped for him. I know there will be a very happy Frist Grade teacher next year when she sees how smart and well prepared he is. Thank you for allowing me and Mrs.Harbin(assistant) the opportunity and privilege of teaching your precious son.

Sincerely,
Lynne Merritt

Here's the story DeVaughn wrote and I will include all the misspelled words just because I think it's so cute!

I want to go in the pool.
The wotr is wearm.
I had swim shrux on.

I got in the pool.
I have sun screm on.
The sun shid brit.

I got out the pool.
My mom went insid the hwso.
I wuz wat.

:rotfl2: I'm so proud of him and to get this kind of recognition!! I guess I'm doing something right!

How long has it been since you've been to WDW Kim?
SCREECHING HALT TO MY TICKER! 2/3 of the drivers have decided to fly. While that's GREAT, the 1/3, my middle brother is not likely to agree to this. :worried: He was going to be a passenger while sending his son on the plane with us. This brother has epilepsy and is going through a divorce for the 2nd time, with the same 'wife', and I'm pretty sure I can't convince him to take any/enough meds to board a plane - given the anti-seizure meds he already takes. :guilty: BUT, Robin, I haven't been to WDW since DIS Con II in Dec. '02. Way too long ago! :worried:

How will this trip affect the possibility of your joining us on the TKer's cruise :confused3
:confused3 Financially, it has no effect - Dad is paying for all of us to go together. :cheer2: Schedule/work-wise, and financially for me (being separated), is another story as to the TK cruise.

I'm trying to catch up with posts..............more to follow. ;)

Kim, yes I'm a very proud Mom! Sorry to hear about the trip! :wizard: Hope you it can get worked out!

Well I have no real plans for today except one of hubby's co-workers (husband and wife both in the military) is bringing their son over here for me to meet. I'm going to start watching him from 12-500. He currently goes to pre-K for the first half of the day and then goes to daycare but his parents say they don't think he likes daycare much.

Hmm.. what is the going rate these days to watch a kid?!?! :confused3 I want to save them a bit of money because they were paying $400 a month for daycare.

Well hope everyone has a good day today! :yay:

:scratchin .............. hmmmmmm........... the price of one Threadkiller cruise for a family of four ........... divided by 10 and a half months ............. equals the cost of daycare for one child :teeth:

Cally what a lovely letter for DeVaughn's teacher to send to you and the treatment he received at school was great. He will remember that for a very very long time.

Make sure you save that letter so you can show him if he ever starts to act up in school later on, which I'm doubting he would do but heck ya never know what kids will get up to ;)

COLLEEN ~~ of course I picked a few things out of the box for myself. Quite a few of the smaller things actually, so I have a whole collection of things. :p

Thanks for the notes inside the box fellow threadkillers. I really enjoyed them. Kim, I will send the entire box, notes and all on to you :smooth: If it stops at you that is fine, if it continues on a journey of it's own then that's okay too :teeth:

:eek2: Yikes, Kim, I hope you can get this little wrinkle worked out. Can't you appeal to your dad or your other brother to consider driving down with the brother who won't fly :confused3 That way you'd have at least one vehicle availble to use while you were there too. I suppose that Matt doesn't have enough driving experience to drive that far on his own (with your brother as a passenger).

Why does the brother not want to fly? Can you try the guilt trip.... your son would really love this opportunity to go to WDW with the whole family..... it's such a short flight.....

I suppose that you, yourself wouldn't be comfortable driving down there with him either? I know I was a bit nervous before I drove down there but I did just fine really. My parents both said that they preferred my driving to both Alex's and Rick's :confused3
