Wow Colleen that is a great deal! And so cool that some lucky little girls got to go to WDW. :smooth:

I know.. I need to go to bed :guilty: because you are right, the boys do get up early and they usually come running into my bedroom asking for breakfast. :rotfl:

Long day? :)
Long Summer days, but shorter and shorter summer, Cally, iykwim! Man, I've never been busier, but it's good for me to keep busy, otherwise we sit and veg all day and night (happened about 3 times so far). ;) I'm actually looking forward to going back to work tho! :earseek: I must be tired - and CRAZY! :crazy:

Yesterday was the Cubs game - all day affair, being it was for DBro's BD, and Kelly stayed at my Mom's, and we went there after the game to get her - a/k/a mini-BD party, gifts, dinner......looonnnggg day.

Today was last day of vacation bible school, including the 'program' at the end, followed with lunch with her friend and her Mom, followed with softball practice (at home) followed by the Big Game tonight! She hit the 'homer' to end the 2nd inning, and it was a Good, solid HIT, worthy of being a homer. ;) Didn't eat dinner til 8:30 tho. Another looonngggg day, yes. :rolleyes:

Tomorrow is the Hallmark Ornament Premiere, and I need to do some grocery shopping, and I want to do some 'other' shopping, and I need to pack (I finished some laundry tonight)......and that's our idea of a 'nothing' day. :rolleyes:

Sunday, all I have to do is feed my DBros fish. :rolleyes: That means I have to get dressed tho. :rotfl2: Maybe I'll bring that fish to MY house while they're gone. ;)

How's that pool of yours?! :sunny:

2-1/2 days til I meet "THE CRUISIN ROBIN" :boat: , in person, in Michigan! :cloud9: :banana: :cool1: :cheer2: :thewave: :worship: :hyper: :jumping1: We begin our journey :moped: on Monday, but don't meet Robin and Liz until Tues, for Lunch! :teeth: :Pinkbounc :goodvibes Good times, I know!!!! :grouphug:

Morning all.

I had a better sleep last night, but I'm still tired this morning. :rolleyes:

I should get going and see if my mom needs any help getting ready. Probably not because she handles this kinds of these quite well. I know she had most of the food already prepared yesterday.

I do need to shower and eat and all the neat stuff and then I will go and hang out at her house. Liz will still be sleeping, so I will come back and get her later :cat:

Have a good day everyone!!

:earseek:

I was just sitting here typing merrily away and a spider dropped down from the ceiling, not 2 inches away from my nose. :scared1: :scared:

A big one too!!

Scared the beegeebies out of me :earboy2:

Hi everyone!!!! :wave:

Kim, I'm glad you are staying busy! Unlike some people (cough * ME * cough ) LOL

I have been looking for jobs but I'm thinking maybe I need to go back to school when the kids start up school.

Happy Late B-Day to your DBro :cheer2:

Good for Kelly and that worthy home runner! :cheer2: As long as she hits it right! ;)

Hope you and Robin have a wonderful time!!!

We have been swimming everyday so far. The kids are really enjoying it and we definately got our money's worth. Sorry no pictures. I can never take any because I'm always in the pool myself. :rotfl: We even went night swimming. :rotfl2: Felt like we were in the ocean because we turned off all the lights and it was dark. The sky lit up with stars and it was really nice!!

hmmm... wonder what kind of fish it is?

Robin, a spider!?!?!?!?!?! :scared: :moped: uckkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Hello All! :wave:

I'm DISing while Brittany gets dressed. We're going to the mall. I finally decided to break down and get my haircut (I average 1 a year) ... I have issues with people who can't cut curly hair and am soooo nervous that they'll totally screw it up ... anyway, Britt heard mall and woke right up! "Can I come!?" Robin, you know what happens when DD goes to the mall, yours is alot like mine ;) So I'm sure we'll have to visit Hot Topic and Pac Sun (Britt likes their jeans)-see if I can catch a sale. HT always has a clearance rack, PS ~ sometimes has a good one. Even the sale prices can be too high at PS :eek:

Robin! Is the spider gone? Was it a shock thing or are you afraid of them? -jc-

Kim, for as busy as it is-your weekend so far sounds awesome...happy birthday to your bro, congratulations to your Kelly...how's DS lately?

Cally: Have you tried Kodak waterproof disposable cameras-I have a few pool shots my kids took from under the water...they're not the best shots but they make cute memories ;)

Your ocean evening sounded divine! Sounds like a perfect evening.

You should try something at school-what do you wanna be when you grow up?
The military has great college tuition funding, IMO- take full advantage of that while the boys are young. By the time they get my kids ages your going to school might not be an option anymore.

She's done, so I'm off...TTYLater...:moped:

:wave2:

Well, we're back and guess what I didn't get...my hair cut.

Brittany got two pairs of jeans, a summer top, a skort, some socks and a cd...what did I get? A toe ring.

Britt wants the computer - I'll be checking back in later I'm sure.

~TTFN~

Hello..

Colleen a toe ring?? I LOVEEEEEEEE toe rings!!! :love: They are so cute. I got a pink mickey toe ring my last trip and a matching anklet. :teeth: Gotta collect the toe rings.

Hey I didnt think of those water proof cameras! The kids would have fun with those. :banana:

Unfortunately only Roger qualifies for the military tuition. :guilty: Or else you know I would be all over that. I did get my associates for free though. I used the pell grant and georgia grant. After a while I got the hope scholarship because I am sooooo smart.. :rotfl: ...just joking... which paid for the rest of my schooling.. I graduated Cum Laude by the way. ;) ahhh proud moment!! :teeth:

I'm afraid though when I go back to school to get my BA I will have to pay some big bucks. :eek:
We'll see though.. I know I'll be eligible for pell but I don't think the school I'm going to accepts Georgia grant. :confused3

Apply for more grants!

At least if you apply you could easily be back in school by next fall.

My sister is doing her BA in pychology. I believe on Grants...I'm surprised that you don't fall under a tuition grant for military-I'm not even gonna question you tho, sounds like you checked. :confused3...I think my sis is still getting Pell grants, she's going to Rowan.

Apply for more scholarships too...for a Cum Laude girl, there's gotta be something out there for you.

Just so I don't ruin my digital, every vacation I might buy up to three or four throwaways, for when we're in the sand or water...but I only use Kodak. I have tried others, I prefer Kodak.

Kodak has the waterproof, a panoramic, black and white and regular cameras (I prefer with flash cause the one's without are horrible indoors.) Walmart has the best price for the regular cameras, I can get a three pack for $11. For the others, I hit CVS during a sale. I like them when the "special" cameras (B&W and Panoramic) are $10 or less. Waterproof can go as low as $7...that's the price I like to pay for them.

~~~
I like toe rings, but only the flexible ones.
The one I got today looks like a diamond daisy with a red center with a flexible band. I got it at hot topic. Britt had me in there for like 20-30 minutes trying to decide on what she wanted. She got a CD, Fall Out Boy, 20% off-she also got a pin and while I was waiting-ever so patiently-I saw the toe rings. They were really pretty and only $3.99, so I splurged. It was that or ruby cherries with a diamond stem. (Mind you, these are descriptions of the jewel like stones-not actual jewels)
I am so goofy, I'm thinking about taking a picture of my toes so you can see...
~~~

I got the spackeling ALMOST finished. I have one large dented area that needs one more hit. Gotta go get brushes. I have primer and no rollers or brushes...

I'll check back again later I'm sure...

It's raining here now, still hot and muggy. Supposed to rain thru tomorrow with no cool off in the near future. Dadz complaining it's too hot, I told some of you are dealing with temps in the 100's...he should count his blessings and stop complaining...he's a worry wart. I'm trying to turn him around, be a little more positive about things.

He complained that he had a lazy saturday at work, he's a machinist and wants to be busy. He was complaining it was too slow, he never should have went in. I simply reminded him that he made easy money today and count those blessings. He'd only be bored at home anyway-it was too hot to work outside. He goes stir crazy if he's cooped up too long.

Gotta :love: him. :hug:

:wave: Evening everyone.

Wonder how ophie and her mystery date ( ;) ) are doing today :teeth:

We had a very successful family reunion today. We had 30 people in attendance. It had to be indoors because we had some torrential rainfalls this afternoon. So much for the airplane show :rolleyes:

It was so nice to see my relatives that I had not seen for 25 years, some of them :earseek:

It was a loud and crazy party at times. We even had a Japanese boy there who was here on an exchange program. Very nice young man, not a lot of English and he was very tired because he just arrived here yesterday. The jetlag was hitting him.

A lot of my family members are on the, well shall we say, CRAZY side :crazy:

Oh a side note to you Harry Potter fans.

One of my cousins came up from Ohio. He said that apparently the newest Harry Potter book is different in Canada than it is in the US. :confused3

Anybody who wants a Canadian copy, I am willing to send one out to you, if you want to check out the differences.

Looky, here only 175 days left before our cruise :cheer2: :teeth:

My brother's dog Cash, sleeping in Liz's lap.

Isn't he the cutest thing?
