It's a boxer. And he is the sweetest dog, so quiet and well behaved. Too bad he has a bad heart and probably won't be with us much longer


I have a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, from a way back long ago Went to the University of Windsor, Ontario. I never really DID anything with my degree but I can say that I have graduated from University and I have the diploma to prove it

So watch out because I might start to analyse all you guys. Oh, heck that would be waaaayyyyy to much work I don't think I want to tackle THAT job

A lot of my family members are on the, well shall we say, CRAZY side

ALL of My Family, on Both sides, are on the crazy side! Makes for some FUN times tho!

One of my cousins came up from Ohio. He said that apparently the newest Harry Potter book is different in Canada than it is in the US.

Anybody who wants a Canadian copy, I am willing to send one out to you, if you want to check out the differences.

I sure wish ophie was here to verify this. (I thought of her today when my book arrived!!!! ) If there ARE differences, I'd love a copy, and what better way to receive it but IN PERSON - on Tuesday!!!! :thewave:


Note to ophie: Out of respect, I did NOT start reading HBP yet. Well.... that and I was afraid that once I started, I wouldn't stop, like the last book - it arrived on Sat. and I finished it on Sun night. (My makeshift HP smilie - ) Hope you're enjoying your weekend rendezvous too.

So today, my aunt, my mom's sister whom I have not seen for about 25 years says to me.

Well, I see that you have finally put on some weight I turned to her and said, put on some weight , I just took 32 pounds off

She says, but when I last saw you, you were soooo skinny (which I definitely was 25 years ago, under 100 lbs!!)

She also has put on weight since I last saw her. She was always very slender and now is not so slender

My other aunt (uncle's wife) whom I have seen more regularly over the years, noticed that I had LOST weight

So I guess we should have more picnics then because the years go by really quickly and before you know it they are all gone

Sad, but true. We have a yearly family picnic on my Dad's Mom's side of the family - the McClaughry Family picnic - it's 7/31 this year. We have over 100 people there easily. We don't normally take a head count, but we fill the picnic grove, spill over onto blankets, into chairs, etc. Kids love the grove, and adults pretend to like each other for a few hours. I enjoy them.
