It's a boxer. And he is the sweetest dog, so quiet and well behaved. Too bad he has a bad heart and probably won't be with us much longer :sad2:

I have a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, from a way back long ago ;) Went to the University of Windsor, Ontario. I never really DID anything with my degree but I can say that I have graduated from University and I have the diploma to prove it ;)

So watch out because I might start to analyse all you guys. Oh, heck that would be waaaayyyyy to much work :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I don't think I want to tackle THAT job :rolleyes1

One of my cousins came up from Ohio. He said that apparently the newest Harry Potter book is different in Canada than it is in the US.

Anybody who wants a Canadian copy, I am willing to send one out to you, if you want to check out the differences.
I sure wish ophie was here to verify this. :confused3 (I thought of her today when my book arrived!!!! :Pinkbounc :cool1:  :teeth: ) If there ARE differences, I'd love a copy, and what better way to receive it but IN PERSON - on Tuesday!!!! :thewave: :hyper: :jumping1:

Note to ophie: Out of respect, I did NOT start reading HBP yet. ;) Well.... that and I was afraid that once I started, I wouldn't stop, like the last book - it arrived on Sat. and I finished it on Sun night. :earseek: (My makeshift HP smilie - :wizard: ) Hope you're enjoying your weekend rendezvous too. :hyper2:  :flower3: :goodvibes

It was a great reunion. We should do it more often, I don't know why we don't
Because it wouldn't be called a reunion then - it'd just be a picnic! :rotfl: ;)

Kim, according to my cousin's wife, there are 3 different versions, the American one, the Canadian one and one other that I forget where she said it was from.

yup, I suppose.

So I guess we should have more picnics then because the years go by really quickly and before you know it they are all gone :sad2:

I wonder why? :confused3 If it's just wording/terminology or something? I can't imagine the story being different in any major sense. :confused3 ophie, hurry back to answer please!!! ;)

A picture of the "oldtimers" from today.

I don't know, Kim.

I am not a fan, so I really didn't pay any attention to the conversation.

Sorry.

So today, my aunt, my mom's sister whom I have not seen for about 25 years says to me.

Well, I see that you have finally put on some weight :rotfl: I turned to her and said, put on some weight :earseek: , I just took 32 pounds off :rotfl:

She says, but when I last saw you, you were soooo skinny :rotfl2: (which I definitely was 25 years ago, under 100 lbs!!)

She also has put on weight since I last saw her. She was always very slender and now is not so slender ;)

My other aunt (uncle's wife) whom I have seen more regularly over the years, noticed that I had LOST weight

Sad, but true. We have a yearly family picnic on my Dad's Mom's side of the family - the McClaughry Family picnic - it's 7/31 this year. We have over 100 people there easily. We don't normally take a head count, but we fill the picnic grove, spill over onto blankets, into chairs, etc. Kids love the grove, and adults pretend to like each other for a few hours. I enjoy them. :goodvibes

:rotfl2: I suppose you can get along with anyone for a few hours at a time. At least I can. ::yes::

My poor cousins who were really too little when we last met to remember much of anyone, must have thought we were a bunch of crazies. :sad2:

No problem Robin. ;) I know your un-Harry status (ok, that made me LOL here at home! :rotfl: ). I think it's very generous of you to make the offer tho, given your un-Harry-ness! :rotfl2: :rotfl: (cracking myself up here!) :teeth:

Weren't we all back then?! ;)

Congrats on the REAL compliment tho! Feels great, doesn't it? :teeth: :cheer2: You DESERVE to be noticed! :goodvibes

And Robin - you look JUST LIKE your Mom!!! ::yes::

You and I can, but my Mom does nothing but gripe, and then acts oh-so-sweet, it kills me.
