Morning all.

Betsy, thanks for asking and yes I think I'm finally starting to feel better:thumbsup2

I forgot to tell you guys. I went shopping yesterday in the "big city" with Liz. Got a few more things bought for Christmas.

We went to the casino and I came out $60.00 richer than when I went in:woohoo:

Now I know 60 bucks is not a lot but usually I just make my donation and leave again;)

I was playing the nickel slot machine:goodvibes

Dance class day. I skipped Monday because I didn't feel as if I had enough breath in my to breathe and dance at the same time:sad2: So I guess I better get up the ambition to go today:dance3:

Have fun today, doing whatever it is you all end up doing:)

This is the first quiz that ever ranked me as a genius!:rotfl2:

I got 11 of 12 right. I also didn't get the butcher shop answer...it makes sense, they weigh beef for customers not themselves, but I thought all the answers required numbers....if we went based on MY weight and my shortness...well, let's say that's a LOT of beef!

Robin - glad you did well at the casino! Sixty bucks is sixty bucks in my book!

Hope ya'll are having a GREAT day!

I actually had the right answer for the meat question but changed it cause I doubted my answer :confused3 My results still say I am slow :(

I think I don't think literally enough for quizzes like that...

I am usually really good with stuff other people cannot figure out.

See if you can picture this:

The guys in accounting handed me a puzzle once. It's the shape of a plus sign. There are pegs inside the "plus", one in each line. The trick is, you can take the puzzle apart when you get the pegs out of the way. Tilting it only makes one fall but puts the other one in the way. I thought for a second. Put the puzzle on the desk. And spun it.

The centrifugal forces put both pegs out of the way and I quickly pulled the puzzle apart. The guys were amazed I got it so quickly.

I hope everyone is feeling well today.

It's really chilly here today.

John leaves for SC tomorrow night to go get his Mom.

I am NOT looking forward to her coming here.

I am a very forgiving person but I find it hard to forget.

Oh well. My heart is doing the single digit dance, I really need my Disney therapy to get thru this winter...

Take care my threadkillers~

Hiya Colleen! I would have NEVER figured out that puzzle - it does seem really cool!

Good luck with your MIL's visit - they can be hard, but you always seize the opportunity to be the better person.

I can't believe you're going to be in Disney in 8 days! How long will you be there? I know you'll have a GREAT time!

Ya'll take care - I've GOT to do some cleaning!

Thank you Ann

We are in Orlando for a week. The 8th to the 15th.

We arrive saturday, go to visit Adrian's poppop on sunday, will probably do Universal M - W and then are park hopping all four Disney parks Th and Friday.

I am most looking forward to the end of the week. Thursday we start at AK for a couple rides on EE. We have an Ice cream social to go to by 1pm at Beaches and Cream (we are meeting Backstagegirl, Nebo and his wife Smidgy.) Afterwards we'll finish the day at Epcot with ressies at Rose and Crown for the fireworks.

Friday Adrian and I start at MK for the KTTK tour and end our day at MGM. We have to be at SSR by 8pm for ressies at the Turf Club with an English DISer and her son.

Somehwere in there we'll be spending some time at DTD...I gots me some Christmas shopping to do ::yes::

I got your Christmas Card by the way!

I really like your letter and pics, it really personalizes the whole deal.

I got my card today too. :thumbsup2

Thanks Ann.

I too love the pictures.

Brings back the memories:goodvibes

The ONLY question I got wrong on that test was the one about the baseball game:confused3 I'm not into sports and I guess I never gave it enough thought as to how the game actually works in order to answer the question properly.

Oh well, I thought only one wrong answer was an acceptable level of "smartness" for me :upsidedow

Just looked at the weather forecast and it's not looking real warm for the time you are going to be in Florida Colleen.

I sure hope they change their minds and you get some lovely weather while you are there:thumbsup2

What are you doing with your calendars?

John's sleeping, Britt and Cliff are hanging out, Adrian went to a concert~
i am making personalized collage calendars at shutterfly.com...so each month has 1-9 photos from that same month this past year....one goes to my Mom - one for a sister, one for us & one for my office....you also can personalize 'days' with birthdays...anniversaries...upcoming vacations...etc.! all very cool~it's really a great way for me to send photos of us to my Mom in something she can use everyday....

Happy Anniversary Brenda!

...anniversary of WHAT?:confused3
...If Its Wedding then pass that onto your DH!...If not then I am confused...and still just AVERAGE!

OMG! I have the BEST NEWS!

Our grand daughter, Emma does NOT have Cystic Fibrosis! It looks like she has Celiac (gluten preventing the body from absorbing nutrients) but that we can handle! They are going to do a few more tests, but from this point on we consider Emma allergic to gluten!

Nana has to go Gluten Free cookbook shopping!

DU,
The meat answer is because he was a butcher clerk...That is what a clerk does, weight the meat and then charge you the $ per lb.,for that weight...:thumbsup2

Well Its my Thurs. and My Mom is driving me nuts:sad2: today,
We should form a Club!:thumbsup2

Hey Ann,

That's great news!!!

I learned alot about Celiac disease in nursing school!

My good friends mom has Celiac also.

There's a lot of web sites and stuff out there where you can order a lot of gluten free ingredients.

Like gluten free bread mix and mac and cheese.

You have to be very careful because all most everything has gluten in it these days.

The main thing that stuck out in my mind from nursing school is BROWS

No Bran, Rye, Oats, Wheat, or Soy Sauce
