We have a hot tub at the house that flows into the pool. The last time Rose and me were there and it was cold we simply rose the temp of the pool for the duration.

Ann, Glad to hear that Emma's diagnosis is not as bad as was originally feared.

OMG! I have the BEST NEWS!

Our grand daughter, Emma does NOT have Cystic Fibrosis! It looks like she has Celiac (gluten preventing the body from absorbing nutrients) but that we can handle! They are going to do a few more tests, but from this point on we consider Emma allergic to gluten!

Nana has to go Gluten Free cookbook shopping!

Awesome news Ann! I know a few people with Celiac's. Once you get used to the diet, it's not too bad from what they tell me. Heck of a lot better than Cystic Fibrosis.

I guess I got lucky in the parental department - they occassionally drive me a bit batty - but all-in-all they are wonderful, loving parents who are always there when you need them.

Oh I forgot to tell you guys how someone almost ran me into another car today.

I was on my way home from the store (kids are with me in the backseat) and some car pulls into my lane .... I have to slam on my breaks because I can't go into the other lane because there is a car beside me!!!

The car finally realizes it can't get in and stops barely hitting me!

UGH, so then I continue to go and the car pulls into my lane behind me and then switchs lanes and continues to speed pass me....

Crazy @#%$&@ drivers!!!

I've noticed a lot of them lately. Don't they know I have precious cargo in the car!!

John and I are joining Rose and Ed for a late dinner tonight.

Go COWBOYS!!!! T.O.'s my guy even DS' ftball no. is 81...altho he & DH really hate TO....we're not sync'd around this house as far as sports teams / players...

we don't have the ticket...so will have to follow along on the web...but gotta finish those calendars tonite AND watch Survivor & maybe even get my Xmas letters printed so i can get these cards mailed out....
