For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of meeting Mr.MouseFan before, he is what you might a founding Threadkiller.

His first post on this thread was on page 4 :scared1: :thumbsup2

And now we are up to page 3006.

Who knew it would live so long and prosper so well :goodvibes

Oh I forgot to tell you guys about the escalator in The Land at Epcot. It almost got Dante's foot!!

His slipper got stuck or sucked in at the end when we were going up. I guess it's my fault since I should of paid more attention to those darn escalators. Esp, after reading ON THE DIS how a lot of peoples shoes (mainly crocs) got stuck in them.

But I did warn him many times about it!!! Because we did use the escalators everyday at the Dolphin and I know I told him every morning to pick up his feet and watch his toes! This happened on our last day. :sad2:

Well here are some pics... oh my gosh....LUCKY LUCKY Boy!!!! good thing it was only the sandal....

It sounds like you gave those boys the perfect day~

they can eat, can't they?!?!

John and me had a great weekend...Lancaster was nice, we shopped a bit but did more sightseeing than shopping. I didn't take the camera...the fall foliage still needs a week or two to be at full color, John and me were talking about going back out there next week for the faire. He really wants to go this year.

We found a Mt Hope winery, but it was a different one than at the Faire. He got Sangria and a Pear wine. Today he is drinking the Blueberry wine he got at the Cranberry Festival last week. He lightens it with seltzer water, I guess you could call it a wine spritzer.

I sent out my goodbye email to the vendors I worked with and I go to the Job Center on Monday. I think I want to be a Cinemetographer or Film Producer when I grow up :scratchin I'll find out tomorrow if the state will pay me to train for it...wish me luck!

The brochure said they help people start their own businesses...I'll find out what that means tomorrow too....there's always a catch right? At least I know I've got the minority factor if I claim Female and Hispanic ;)

You posted "The End"?

and to answer.... Neverrrrr .... Muahahahahaha

 <---me

I did :confused3

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

That's funny because it was the beginning of something very great for me, not the end.

The beginning of my friendship with all of the great threadkillers:goodvibes

Brenda it sounds like you've had a lovely weekend.

Isn't it nice to have the house filled with boys;) Actually try to enjoy it because before you know it, those days are gone forever:guilty:

I'm sure that they enjoyed all of the healthy foods that you provided for them:)

Colleen, good luck with your job hunting.

Thank you Robin...

John made Ham and cabbage for tonight and a roast for tomorrow today.

He's the Best!

I went shopping, got some AWESOME deals!

After I dropped Britt off at work I went to the next mall to go to the Disney store. I parked over by JC Penney. The first thing I saw when I walked in was a Christmas Clearance display with Disney stuff right out front! I got a light up Disney train lawn ornament and a Toy train and tracks for under my christmas tree for $60 bucks! They woulda cost $200 at full retail! They were 50% off with a coupon discount for another 20%. My kinda sale.

After I bought those and took em out to the car, too big to carry, I went back in to again, go to the Disney store.

I was walking by Old Navy and saw all kinds of clearance racks...so I went in. I got me two blouses and a pair of jeans for $60. Yay!

I finally made it to the Disney store. There are alot more adult offerings in there now, even some stuff from the home collection was in the store! None of it on clearance yet so I passed that over for now.

I did get some kitchen hand towels off the clearance rack! Four towels for about $10 total. I also prepurchased Ratatouille. That comes out on Nov 6th. I got a free litho and a 15% coupon off my next purchase as bonuses for that.

all in all, another good day.

I hope all of yours were just as good~

TTFN.

Hi Threadkillers!

Believe it or not...I AM caught up! This will be a short post, tho. I've been super busy but all is well. Dad will start his radiation therapy the day we are coming back from Savannah.

Got a TON of things to do between now and then - including another big family dinner on Wednesday so I'll be cookin'....I've got a hankerin' to make bread, but I don't know if I'll have the time! (We're having beef stroganoff (made with filet mignon) on a bed of velvet mashed potatoes - new recipe for both and I bought a potato ricer!)

Love Krispy Kreme, glad Dante's foot didn't get eaten! DU - glad you have your meds! Hiya Kevin - glad to see you! I have NO idea when I joined the threadkillers and don't know how to check! Sorry I wasn't there to make lasagna CADZNY - but pizza & cookies sounds pretty darn good to me!

Ya'll take care!

Yes boys CAN eat....and eat....and then eat a bit more...and none of them are overweight....but they do all work hard....most are on the FB team....It's great to have them...they are all very considerate & polite...and have fun together. Yes Robin...i will miss these days once they end....he gets to have them all here about 4x / year....but even so...thats only about 5 or 6 more times

i have never had a "good" krispy kreme...so i gave up trying.... Oh my that's a shame! I love when the "HOT" light is on at Krispy Kreme because they are fresh out the oven and still warm!

Hi Colleen

Glad you had a good weekend.

Good Luck on your job search. I hope it works out. You'd do great in that field. :thumbsup2

You're hispanic? Do you speak spanish? My dad never taught me:sad2:

For dinner Roger made bacon wrapped chicken breast and grilled them. (They came out soooooooooo good) I made potatoe casserole and green beans (the grean beans were the steam fresh kind ;) )

The lawn thing sounds great! We have one of those light up train lawn ornaments that Roger's cousin gave us. I'm not sure if I'm decorating all out like I usually do this year. Something is going to be missing this year. :guilty:

Anyhoo, I will definately get a tree and decorate that!

Oh and I LOVE OLD NAVY! They always have such nice stuff. And during season change is the best time to shop there!! :thumbsup2

Ann I believe that your first post on the threadkillers was on may 29, 2004. I don't know what page that was though.:confused3
