It has been quite quiet around here lately.

I guess everyone is busy, off living their lives, while I apparently have none

We are having company for dinner tonight so I have some cleaning to do.

It's going to be a fairly plain meal because of allergies, steak on the barbecue, baked potatoes, cooked carrots, bread.

Rick is also going to make some broccoli soup and salsa dip for those who don't have the allergies.

I haven't decided on dessert yet Maybe we just won't have any.

They are harvesting the pumpking field behind us right now. Kind of interesting to watch. They are taking the pumpkins for the seeds, so they tumble them around and remove the seeds and spit out the rest of the pumpkin guts onto the field.

It has been a little slow around here lately but we are still hanging on.

Oh I forgot to tell you guys about the escalator in The Land at Epcot. It almost got Dante's foot!!

His slipper got stuck or sucked in at the end when we were going up. I guess it's my fault since I should of paid more attention to those darn escalators. Esp, after reading ON THE DIS how a lot of peoples shoes (mainly crocs) got stuck in them.

But I did warn him many times about it!!! Because we did use the escalators everyday at the Dolphin and I know I told him every morning to pick up his feet and watch his toes! This happened on our last day.

You don't really think of escalators as being "dangerous" but they really can be.

(Do you think he will listen to Mom next time she tells him to be careful with something !! )

I am still amazed and GREATFUL his foot did not get injured. He was behind me when it got stuck so I was all ready off and didn't realize it had got stuck. I thought Roger was with him but apparently Roger walked off with SIL and BIL to get fast passes for Soarin. So Dante was a few people behind me.

The first thing I saw was the slipper when he came running up to me! It all happened really fast...the thought of a mangled foot popped in my head...Thank goodness I didn't faint right there...And I realized he wasn't limping and I looked down at his foot and let out a big sigh of relief!!
