Bizzzzzzze am today. James finished up at the dentist, dry cleaning, pay some stupid bills. Went to the place i place my stuff in storage...for the third month in a row, no one is there....and when you call no one answers the phone. But YET someone keeps cashing the checks! Then I had to go to my car dealership (they still havent fixed my car yet...1 week today! ) I needed my sunglasses that I left in there. They are saying this Wednesday now.

Then my rental car they gave me, has the check engine light on, so i have to exchange that this evening! What a pain in the ..........(fill in the blank)

Gotta do some packin...working tues through thurs this week.....for a few hours each night. This past week knocked the heck outta me(60 tourturous non stop hours in 4 days ). I went to bed @ 9 last night and overslept this am.!

Yes, I found the silly cat.

He was sitting there waiting for me the second time that I came home this morning.

Now he has an appointment for 3:10.

The nearest "field of mice" is right in my backyard. There are pumpkins growing in it this year.

No cans for their dinner. They mainly eat dry food and an occasional pouch of the wet stuff.

DU, you better start to slow down now so that you can actually enjoy your vacation

You sound like you are going to be so stressed and tired that you will have no fun at all for the first few days.

Take a few deep breaths and RELAX.

Both my puppies are under the weather today, they both seem to have upset stummys...I don't know if it's the heat or the kids that were over this weekend feeding junk food to them

My dogs get so little people food that they really can't handle it when they get too much of it

DU - send your next payment stub with "no check" - tell them you'll meet them at your storage unit & pay them in person. And get some more rest so you're relaxed for your big vaca - coming up in no time

Robin - glad you found the cat~ sure he is "REALLY GLAD" he was found and i'll bet more glad he was able to get a 2nd appt at the vet

Well DS got his braces off this a.m. - he left the ortho and went to a friends house. Then they went to see "The Simpsons" before he goes back at 2 for his retainers. Can't wait to see him tonite!

Colleen - hope the puppies are feel better soon....you're good not to give them too much 'people food'!! Niner LOVED people food....i could never resist his gorgeous eyes and cute smile that Dals have!

Back from the vet with cat number 2.

Not such as good a visit as cat number 1.

The vet thought he felt some sort of mass in his abdomen. He has lost 2 pounds in the past year, weighs 10 pounds now versus 12 last year.

This cat is also 15 years old.

Now we have to make a decision on whether to have an ultrasound done to see if infact there is something nasty going on in there

I'm thinking that I will have the ultrasound done just to make sure but I'm not sure about doing anything radical.

He's an old boy and we have to also think about the quality of his remaining time

Of course the vet could be wrong and there is nothing there. Unlikely though that is.

And no, Subway was not really very pleased with his visit to the doctor. He gets really vocal while he's in the car and also in the office.

what a nice mommy you are ~ congrats to your DD....i haven't given ryan anything (well a hug & a kiss) and he looks SO handsome.....he's had these almost 4 yrs now....altho he looked good in braces too...he's busy getting things ready & packed for the big camping trip....

My FIL's friends were over when I got home tonight, they are really good with remembering each others birthdays~

Help me out here Brenda...Nan had asked me to add the end date of our cruise to the logo, I honestly have no idea what day it is...wanna fill me in so I can appease her or should I leave the logo alone pretending we never really have to leave the ship?

I worry about our pets and their health...

we haven't had to deal with a major loss like that in a long time, thankfully...

Mika is getting older, she's 11 now. Our cat, Precious, is 17! I worry about having to deal with health issues and was just thinking I would forego tests and let things ride naturally with our babies. Of course I think this without the issue really even coming up for us. I don't know what I'd do

Yeah Colleen I know what you mean about the tests.

The only thing that I'm thinking about is, that if we at least do the ultrasound we will know what we are dealing with. You know the vet could even be wrong and there is nothing there. Or there could be something that won't cause him problems for awhile

I'm 99% sure that we won't go for chemo's or surgeries to prolong his life.

I'd like to know if he's going to be in a great deal of pain and what to watch out for Because I wouldn't want him to be hurting.

He's quite a healthy looking cat and everyone marvels at how good he looks for his age all the time.

I've got that life too right now but I'm not heading to Disney.

We are leaving on Thursday night for another airplane competition.

Might be back on Sunday night but may not be back until sometime on Monday. Monday is a holiday here.

This time we are going 7 1/2 hours away.

Can't they make these competitions a little closer to home

Anyway it makes a good excuse for a weekend away.

Nobody else is home though, so I have to make arrangements for cat, fish sitters

WELL i suppose if we don't get off the ship they will put us to work AND that wouldn't be the same...we come home Jan 3 2009 - so guess having that on the 't-shirts anyway would be good....and as soon as we're back - we're driving straight up to Orlando and hope to be in one of the parks by 1pm since it's Ryan's last year of school - i'll let him miss a day or two, i'm thinking a lot of people will be ending their holiday vacation that day or Sunday the 4th and the parks should be great!!!!
