no worries...no more changes here....i like my new name!!! I'm sad you're 'tickerless'....you need to plan something for next year SOON!!! what happened with your Jan 08 trip?
I only TICKER when I have a plane ticket & res # in hand!

I just priced out flights from Monterey to LA area for my 10/05-10/07 DL trip - only $59 each way. that would be great...it's only a 5-hour drive...but 10 hours of driving on a 48 hour trip.....is TOO much driving
Whats a 5 hour drive??????:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

You'd know her if they've been sent to Trenton...

Its five hours from brendas house to dl silly...

Ten hours round trip.

Good Morning TKers..:sunny:

and Happy Friday!......:hippie:

Anyone have weekend plans????:3dglasses

We are going camping in the RV...at a semi close State park...But thats on Sun-Tues...we couldnt get a spot on a weekend...

I guess we will work on our place, on Sat..:confused3 ..and get the RV packed...Thats about it!...:)

Colleen,:wave2:
There is nothing wrong with a disneyfide Mom!...At least she GETS its...Right!:thumbsup2

Hope everyone has a great day!...:wizard:

TTFN

YEAH - i'd rather spend 10 more hours at DL than 10 hours on highway 5 - BOOOOORRRRIng!!!!!

Tig - your ticker shows 7 days.....

I hear ya Brenda! I am to the point where I would really prefer to fly to Florida when we go...I can totally do without that long drive

Hubby is at a concert tonight so I have a quiet night alone. Tomorrow he works and I have a feeling he'll want to go to the beach on sunday...it all works out, I can get a head start on my weekend chores and be done with all that so I can enjoy myself with him at the beach.

I got DS a bikerack for his car. He got a new bike from me about two weeks ago. He already has a rack for the surfboard, now he can take his bike too without trying to get it *in* his car with all their luggage. John and me take all the luggage and both dogs in our car so the kids pile all their kayrap into Adrian's car for the ride to NC.

We really don't have anyone coming with us this time...it's a shame all those rooms will go to waste but for the price we paid, I am fine with it. We'll have our own pool and hot tub, we have a pool table and an outdoor bbq "living room" and are a block off the beach. Last chance for anyone who wants to join us!!! We have lotsa room and two weeks...even if it's for a long weekend (Aisling or Mom) one of you should really come visit~

Flying can be a hassle - but i so love the time savings...and this little airport in Monterey is really easy to get in to & go thru security...no long lines!yadda yadda yadda

Who is he seeing tonite???

Boy - someone should definitely take advantage of that beach offer....how FUN!!!!!

Oh yeah...Driving lets us take absolutely everything we could possibly need with us cause we have the car space...I gotta cut down on what I take but like you said, we'll have that much more time enjoying the Parks/Sights/Relaxing...whatever~

John is going to see Alice in Chains tonight, I should hear from him soon cause he said he was leaving work around 2.

As usual, for those who aren't going, I will have tons of pics for all of you to enjoy when I return~

Real exciting w/e plans here.

I am working tonight! My Back is still out:headache: James is on his way to Brooklyn for a week. At my sisters house.

Lots (and I mean LOTS) too do around here. I was away for a week...but STILL have 2 weeks worth of stuff to catch up on!!!!! How does that happen?:confused3

Thunderin & a lightnin here!pirate:

PS I rather drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE flyin!

Did I tell you I had to get FRISKED both going & coming home from Florida this time!:headache:

I am happy that I haven't been "frisked" yet :)

Must be a Disunc thing ;)

...acutally...I warned hubby the one time he flew alone to meet up with his Dad in FL and drive home with him that he would in fact be frisked. He was a single male flyer, one way ticket with no checked luggage~

The only time I am geniunely nervous on a plane is at take off and landing. I white knuckle it every time...I can only assume I am that way cause most accidents I see on tv involve the runway :confused3 Once we are in the air, I am the one with my forehead glued to the window looking at the scenery or sleeping :cloud9:

Housework multiplies doubly fast when the head of household isn't home~

After all the years your family has been in the house with you you didn't know that yet? I dread coming home if I know there's a mess waiting for me to tackle as soon as I walk in the door...at least if the whole family is with you there is noone to create said mess :)

Thanks Sorceror Mikey! :smickey:

Zach says " Look Dada Ickey! Yeah baby!"

He says Ickey for Mickey.:rotfl2:

Having a festival by the house this weekend. Starts tonite. Parade tommorow, music all weekend, beer garden, food, games, bingo, pony rides, petting zoo, wall climber, and like 8 of the blow up jumping things. On Sunday they have a special where you have unlimited rides for 3-4 hours. So we'll be busy.

Also the air and water show is this weekend. Working downtown for right now and they were flying over the building I was working on. Could almost see the pilots! Saw the Blue Angels, Thunderbirds, B-52, and I think an F-18 or something like it.:confused3 Very loud and fast.

And for those who know what I'm talking about......................
"Getcha Head in the Game! Go Wildcats!" popcorn:: :happytv:

I work in Corporate IT Disaster Recovery. So all these Corporations in the line of fire (yet to be determined) are calling in "get ready for us" status.

Once its a GO we have to set up their corporate IT enviornment here. Some hop on planes & come here...and some turn over their work to us!:scared1: :scared1:

Its alot of work! I am on call all weekend too. If worse comes to worse I could be here for days at a time!:sad2: I dunno want that! Me back is killin me!

We already had some Cayman Island Companies give us the GO!

Oh ok.

I thought you put systems to the test not actually ran them in an emergency :confused3

I'd like to hear your story~

Guess what? I finished my trippie today :duck:

I even made a Disney slideshow...wanna see?

It's a first draft, it came out nice~

Well what did everyone think?

My daughter loved it.

I thought it got annoying but the kids got alot of talent. If my high school was like that it would have stayed for 4 more years.:rotfl2:

I can't belive some of the negetive things that are being said on some other threads. They are not the best actors granted, but we are talking about 19-20 year old kids. They have more enegry in the hour then I have in a year. And still in there own way VERY talented. And my kids love it and that's what matters. Looking back now does Chitty- Chitty-Bang-Bang, Absent Minded Professor, The Incredible Mister Limpet, Tron, The Black Hole, or Petes Dragon have the absolute greatests actors, special effects or storyline? No. But they are classics that I grew up with and still would watch today. Some parents/ older fans are too critcal and expect too much. They don't recall they way it was I think. Anyway, sorry for the little rant, some of the stuff just peeved me off.

:sad2: If Mother Theresa came back from the dead, ended world hunger and stopped ALL Wars....some diser would say "...she dresses funny!":confused3

 How Don Knotts NEVER got a Academy Award nomination for Mister Limpet is beyond my comphrehension!!!!
(if you remember Mr Limpet was from Flatbush Brooklyn.....just like me!) I  THAT movie.

Just because Dick Van **** was in Mary Poppins & Chitty Chitty Bang Bang...He will always be a Demi GOD too me! When I saw him in "A Night at The Museum" I wasso friggen excited!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
