HELLO ALL!!!! Can't believe it's been 10 days since I posted last~ Could BARELY catch up! Just a couple/few things I picked up, before trying to 'hit the hay', with Kelly having a sleepover guest tonight (we're going to Six Flags in 8 hours!)-----

I'm no sparky Cruis, I found that out in the winter when I (really my SIS) turned a space heater on my back porch and blew a fuse in the house. So I had to rewire the whole house cause of her.

Hi Rory! Wait to Kimminy reads you had to re-wire the house because of her! I'll just sit back and watch the *ahem* sparks!

Darn right Ann!!! HE put that space heater on the back porch for us (smokers), and then BLAMES me for turning it on!?!?! Even HE said, "IN THE WINTER"! HELLO! IT WAS WINTER AND WE WERE NEARLY OUTSIDE! YES! I WANTED THAT SPACE HEATER 'ON' THAT HE LEFT OUT THERE! He's busy with his basement now. No time to blame me lately, I guess.

Obviously, I've been busy, like you ALL have!! It's summer! In the past 10 days, we went to a Cubs game (they WON again!), and Rory's DD went with us that day and slept over here that night. Next night Kelly was sleeping over at her friend's after VBS, and on Saturday we picked her up and went to her softball picnic. (Found HP in the mail when I got home that night and reading HP every chance I got between then and tonight!) Wednesday, Rory's DW, DD and DS spent the ENTIRE day/night with Kelly & I at Kiddieland! 10 hours at the amusement park! WOW, we get our money's worth! Amy won a toilet paper contest at the Radio Disney contest. 4 free admissions to see the BRATZ movie opening! She was SOOOO intense! ASK Rory about it!!!!!!! Today was kinda quiet....went to the bank, went grocery shopping, got gas in the van for our 'trip' Friday, made dinner, and awaited, and am now 'watching', a sleepover friend. Friday will be another long day...Six Flags Great America is open from 10-10. CROC day for sure!!!!! Right, DU???

Good Morning Threadkillers!

I'm sorry I didn't catch up, but thanks to Kimmy....CONGRATS BRER PAPA! I didn't realize you got your copyright! You are SO cool!

I'm getting ready to head to Wally World to buy some toys for the grandkids. We're headed to Orlando for the weekend to play with them. We'll be going to SeaWorld again (I got a pass for the rest of the year). DGS loves the sharks...he's almost 5 - it's what they do!

I've been really working hard on my carbs again and I'm pleased to say I've lost 5 pounds. The first 10 are the hardest....I need to get back in my smaller sizes (this time I didn't throw them away like I did my larger sizes)

I also go my new glasses on order yesterday - my right eye improved! That's the first time I've EVER gone to the optomotrist and not had my prescription strengthened - I guess I'm turning over a new leaf! My DM said it was because I was back to drinking water!

Hiya TKer's.....it's official....i just checked my 'subscribed' threads & saw i "killed" a thread 10 days ago - my first (that i know of) at least with my new screen name....

DH is working sat & sun.....SOOOOO DD is coming over & she, DS & I are cleaning the garage tomorrow & having a yard sale - so by tomorrow night - the new car can actually be housed in the garage What a concept that is....I actually just sat here and read - well read some chapters (portions of chapters) of the handbook....DH will be proud...but there were some things i didn't know how to operate sooooo.....

Nothing else planned for us....oh yeah - it is the Gilroy Garlic Fest this wkend....we won't be going, but there should be approx. 100,000 visitors or so....probably won't even venture too far from home if i can help it...

DS wants to drive all the way to Santa Cruz tomorrow afternoon to meet his 'friend' there at the movie theatre....i'm just not sure that driving around Santa Cruz (yet) is the best idea....pushing this one off to DH...i'm always making all the decisions....

I had a guy threaten to kick my ummmm, behind.

To make the long story short, he had the impression that I "stole" a parking spot that was legally his

The only reason he thought it was his was because he zoomed right past me in the parking lot while I was waiting patiently for the several cars in front of me to park and or exit parking spots(only one combined enter and exit, dead end parking lot).

He then decides he's going to back into a space which I was close enough to beat him into

I honked at him so he wouldn't back into me and his female passenger gave me a lovely hello gesture. Then he backed up and threatened my behind and called me every nasty name that you can use to describe a female, including many that I have not heard uttered in an awful lot of years

Not wanting to stoop to his level I just shook my head and went in the bank. Thanking my lucky stars that he decided he didn't really need to go to the bank afterall and left
