Who feels like a Thread-Killer? Part 2

ok! Went to Drs w/ Mom. The leg is doing great. Dr. said she was a day or two away from loosing it!

However...since now all the blood flow is going back to the foot...the dead skin is falling off her middle toe! When I say DISCUSTING...I mean DISSSSSSSSCUSTING ...so much so that I was perfectly right to go run in the Mens room & throw up!

And until they can get a nurse here on a daily basis (not anytime soon at this time of year) quess who has to change this dressing on a daily basis????? (i will be 90 pounds by new years!)

I am gonna have to beg the nurse next door for HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLP!

Get a load of this....she needs some type of ointment to put on (along with what looks like a medicated foam pad...BUT the ointment cost $1,000.00 a TUBE! Thank God they have Insurance that covers perscriptions (20 bucks)! What to people do who dont have Insurance?

Brenda/Betsy, do you think I could make that French toast casserole with Italian style bread instead. It comes in a loaf and is not as squishy as say Wonder Bread would be. It has a firmer texture

I'm finally home... My company decided to wait til tomorrow to come instead of today. So the kids and I went running around...after I went grocery shopping of course!

Yep, I finally got that out of the way! Thank goodness. It wasn't that bad..not too busy.

After I unloaded the food we went back out and hit most of the stores. Mainly just window shopping. Watching other's frantically shop. Quite amusing.

Anyways~ I'm home now and DeV has requested a baked potatoe for dinner. So got some pototoes in the oven. We'll probably have some chicken with the pototoes and DU's fav...peas!!!

Colleen, you say such sweet things. I'm greatful to have yall too! What in the world would I be doing if I didn't have you guys to chat with everyday.... Or have you guys posts to read....to confind in you guys... to laugh with... to be sad with...

And DU if there was a way I could help trust me I would. I really don't mind that stuff either. I had a lot of dressing changes during nursing school. You would be surprised at some of the stuff I saw.

I've decided that I too, will do the french toast casserole!! How many does that serve? I was thinking I would just do it for the kids and I on Christmas morning. Might have a lot of left overs.

I would get everyone an all expense paid DISNEY vacation...7night stay at the Poly then 5 day cruise!!!

Not here, very little is open on Christmas Day here.

Most stores are not allowed by law to be open.

Even McDonald's and other fast food places are closed.

It is so very strange to drive around town on Christmas Day and all the business signs are dark and the parking lots are empty.

yeah - there are more stores open Christmas Day than Thanksgiving.....but fortunately for the workers...they most likely get paid "double" time PLUS holiday pay AND they do close early that day....which is good for them....

If I had to choose a hotel for my Christmas present I honestly don't know which one I'd pick~I've stayed at the GF, never at the Poly...I think I'd pick the Poly just cause it would be something different.

Another trip out for me today, hopefully this is it til we go food shopping. John and I will most likely go Sunday or even Monday for Tuesday's food. I printed out the casserole recipe...Betsy, I too would like the sausage casserole recipe if you got it handy please???
