a quick story...

every year...I have helpers blow out he candles....

every year...i tell the GK's don't forget to make a wish....

every year...I ask after the candles are blown out if they made their wish....

every year....they say yes....

every year...I rub my bald head..and say..."Hmmm...that didn't work"....

Got up this morning to snow!!!! Not a lot but enough to cover the grass in a lot of spots, none on the sidewalks, roads etc. though.

(Ann, I think dinner with you guys tonight is sending better every minute )

It is very windy and quite cold too.

Oh, I forgot to tell you guys. Liz drove yesterday for the first time with her driver trainer instructor. She says that he said she did a great job. She has never driven before (except for with him a few weeks back doing turns in a parking lot). Liz says she even turned left and I find this strange......... she says that she parallel parked . I wouldn't think they would do that on her first ever driving experience!!!

Now maybe she will want to try and drive our car . She has had her license since August but has not driven until she was with the driver instructor.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Threadkiller friends. Ya'll are on my list of things to be thankful for.

Cruisin - come on down! It's beautiful here! It was supposed to rain, but it's about 65 and sunny, sunny, sunny! A bit of a breeze. Perfect, crisp fall day!

Gotta clean up the kitchen from our Thanksgiving b'fast. What?......we eat breakfast at home every once in a while! Really!

Hi everyone!

My tummy is full! We went to Cracker Barrel for t'giving dinner. It was very nice. Usually, we go out for a nice, juicy steak - but changed our minds this year. It's soooo relaxing not having to cook or do dishes.

I know, I know.....many traditionalists prefer to cook - myself included.....nothing like homemade. But, don't knock it 'til you tried it.....it's a nice alternative!

Plus, I don't have to deal with starchy, surgary, high carb leftovers! One meal of indulgence and it's back on the program!

Alex came home with a report card from his college Paramedic classes. He has 95.5, 95.5 and 93.3 in his classes. He also has a Phys Ed. class that he did not get a mark in yet. WOW, I was impressed. Why couldn't he get marks like that in highschool
