Alex came home with a report card from his college Paramedic classes. He has 95.5, 95.5 and 93.3 in his classes. He also has a Phys Ed. class that he did not get a mark in yet. WOW, I was impressed. Why couldn't he get marks like that in highschool

Hmm, I kinda figured no one would be around at this hour. 
BP, I hope your birthday (and Thanksgiving) were the Happiest Ever!
Oh yeah, your Poll! TONS of leftovers at both my parents and my FILs!! Mom gave me a ton for DS, who wasn't there today, and FIL had so much leftover, I don't know what he's gonna do!
Enjoyable, interesting day for me.
Oh, and you folks with nasty weather today.....that's what we had yesterday! Roads were fine today, but the sidewalks without sun still had slippery, icy patches. Yeserday was nasty though. Right across the street from us, the whole block (and behind them I imagine) lost power, while we had a flash of outage and came right back on. Thank goodness.
BIL who had the triple bypass last Tuesday was there today, looking good! He stayed a little too long tho, and started to look really tired, but he's OK! And my cousin with the possible MS diagnosis saw another Dr. and she's feeling a lot better now! Still don't know what the lesions are, but this Dr. doesn't think it's MS, not yet anyway. She's gonna try other treatments for the symptoms (headaches) first.
LOTS to be Thankful for, including all of you, who've lived through all of my 'stuff' lately as well! THANK YOU!
Friday is C'mas decorating day and I can't wait! Already took down Turkey Day stuff, and getting primed for tomorrow! I'm sooo excited this year, don't know why exactly , but I AM!!!!
So, with that, I will again KILL this thread, for tonight anyway.
Ooooooo, la la!!! I got Marilyn on my BD too, but I don't remember slinky gown being included!
Oh Boy! One DAY of indulgence for me, and it's back OP tomorrow!! I wouldn't say I 'pigged out' today, but I ate several things I wouldn't normally have touched the past 10 months! MAN, those things were yummy!!!!!
WHOA! WAY TO GO ALEX!!! Congratulations!!! And Robin, as for HS, they don't score as good because those courses aren't the courses they WANT to take! I think when they're able to choose for themselves what they want to learn, then they excel! Funny, we were just discussing this same thing tonight.

Everyone!!!No school here today so Liz and my niece Jillian and I are off to the "big" city (an hour away
) to do some shopping at the big mall.Liz has riding at 4:30 so we have to be back by then.
Hopefully, I get back here and on in time to catch up before the boards go down.

Okay the first time I tried to post a message it didn't work .

Did you know if you go to your Control Panel you can change the colors (or colours)? They have this green, Orlando Blue, Disney Cruise (blue & red with DCL ads up top) and Swan Dolphin (peach & sage with hotel info). it's pretty neat. So far, it hasn't been too difficult to use.

I am trying to change the lightbulbs in my electric fireplace. Of course the bulb broke off and now I have to look for some pliers to get it out.
Have a great nap. (The "old" guy gets tired an awful lot lately )

Actually I am trying out the Orlando Blue for awhile to see if I like it.
I don't really care too much for the Swan and Dolphin one.

Holy Guacamole............Where'd the threadkillers go? I guess you and I are the only ones who checked out the boards!
Well, I didn't get wet. Tom dropped me off at the door at church - what a gentleman! We went for a quick burger and will have a birthday dinner at one of our favorite steakhouses later, during the week - too many crowds.
On our way home, right before you turn to our housing area, someone was trotting across the road (main road in town 6 lanes) and was struck and killed instantly. I don't know who this person is, but if ya'll say nightly prayers, please remember this person. It was heartbreaking.
Other than that, we watched a movie: "Love Actually" one of my all time favorites. It was on TV. What a great Christmas classic.
Well, I'll scoot. We're going to read in bed for a little bit and then go to sleep!
