Yes I was up late last night..I knew I would be....I had a big cup of coffee around 8 pm.....I actually stayed up and watched The fox Ch. with DH, Hes a news hound.

Well its a big cleaning day for me...The bigger jobs....You know like scrub the floors and wash the windows....

Hey if you saw a dust storm in the distance this morning,,in the direction of Pa....It was me....I had to scrub the dried mud off my horses....They came to the barn covered with wet mud when we let them in last night...must have rolled..... On the way back to the house all I could think is I must have looked like "Pig pen" from the peanuts..with a cloud of dirt hovering around me.
Anyway better go....Have a good day

I have to leave in a few minutes to pick up my daughter who is having some quality time with her horse (not one she owns but one the stable owns ). She and a lady in her class are making up for a class they both missed earlier in the session.

Then I will have to drive her to the next town to see her boyfriend, which means an hour drive for me this afternoon. His band will be playing tonight in another town about 1/2 hour away but I don't have to drive her there. She will be getting a ride with someone else. Hopefully she will be returned home tonight and I don't have to go and get her.

I should do some cleaning and straightening myself.

Did you have a good breakfast Hollyann?? What did you have? Do you go to some small local restaurant or to a chain style restaurant? (enquiring minds want to know )

It is hard to tell on the picture but is that a Disney pattern on Ernie's vest??? Part of it looks like it could be and the other part does not

she cut and pasted the heads of the wallet photo's on everybody but her....

and...WS is "purdy as a picture..." isn't she?

This will send you running, screaming into the night....

she takes after me in everything but my looks....

and my boys are "strong handsome lads"....and PA is as beautiful as the day we met and fell n love...

you notice though....

I had to keep my hands in my pockets....

nothing to juggle...

no pick me up sticks....and a flat ripple ring....

also....look at Ern's vest....all Mickeys!

and...that was in May of '02....we got 3 inches of snow that day....

I vote that it was nice to have PA and WS stop in while you were off doing whatever it is that you do when you are off doing it

I think they should drop by more often, it was good having them around here.

Although we were wondering if you had done something nasty and been banned

I thought those were Mickey's on Ernie's vest but it is hard to tell for sure. Where did Ernie get his height from?? He looks a bit taller than the rest of the family.

It is the same with my family. I have one brother who is taller than the rest of us who are definitely on the shorter side.

so....I was surrouded by all the GK's today....Savanna turned 1 year old yesterday but her party was today....

the party was at 12:30....

a lunch was served at 1....kids first...

when us big kids got our dishes....all 5 GK's had "Papa's seat" in the dining room reserved....

put a huge on my kisser....

well...when the other big kids weren't looking...

PA and I have had more than a few "discussions" about the "sock shoe sock shoe" method she uses....

I juggled her 2 shoes and a sock one time....to make a point..

she didn't get it....

anyway....one day...she said "OK! I'll do it YOUR way!"

so she does....

she was uncomfortable all day....

I wonder....she's left handed....are you?

I am glad that all of the Grandkids love their Papa .

THANK YOU, WS!!! Why am I not at all surprised to see such lovely people?! Just like their internet personnas. I have just one comment though......BP says that pic was taken 2 years ago. Well, WS, you look sooo young just 2 years ago, and you have 3 kids?!?! WOWZA! Send me some of that PA water, would ya? (And please don't tell me it's the squirrel McNuggets that keep you looking so young!)

Kelly went to Brownies this morning, and we did a little Costco this afternoon, and she played outside for a short time before dinner. The Brookfield Zoo with her Brownie troop is tomorrow. I THINK we're doing better. She's still not eating much, and still says her tummy hurts, and I wonder if it's something emotional, rather than physical? I used to get myself pretty worked up about 'things' at her age too, so I wonder.

Anyway, I just noticed today, on the back of last week's 1st grade newsletter, that her class is going to do Flat Stanley's. Any one know of him? If so, would ANYone be willing to host Stanley, and write a little something about his visit with you, and send him back, for her social studies class? I'm not gonna take this to the CB, where many others have already asked, and many more will, so I thought I'd just ask the few of you here. If not, I totally understand! I've done a few myself before, and it's not always easy thinking of stuff to write for the kids. We were supposed to turn in a name & address/location on Friday, but as you know, we weren't there, so she'd have to have a name/address for Monday. I know, I apologize, short notice. Bad school-Mommy week last week. TIA
