I think I am going to go too and see if I can find something to watch for a little bit, until I fall a sleep. Can't stay up to late, because I have lot's to do tomorrow!
I have a ton of laundry to do, for my Disney World trip. And then I also have to get out all of our luggage and wipe them all out, so they are all nice and clean. Plus I have Church in the morning and then I might be working late tomorrow night also. So I have tons to do. Does anyone want to do my laundry for me? :teeth: LOL

Well good morning everyone!
I just think passion was GREAT. ........Not a movie to be entertained by, but an importaint movie to see..........M. Gibson did a beautiful job.
How to lose a guy is a really cute movie.. I bought them both.
Has everyone gotten there Aladin on DVD. I preordered mine so I could get the lithographs. I have a Disney den and I frame them and hang them on the walls. I cant hang all(not enough room)but I change them every six months or so.
Well the DGDs and I are going to make "dead Fred" today! We dont have alot of leaves this year for some reason so we will stuff Fred with old hay......( I knew those horses would come in handy)We have done "dead Fred for two years now,..... he really didnt die for two years. We kept him in the barn....but he got too old last year and we couldnt keep him stuffed because his clothes were falling apart. So this year we have to make a new "dead Fred".Thats ok, because he needed a fashion makeover anyway!:teeth:
I have alot of FUN things to do today... After fred I have to mow the yard(about2 acres) and the best part I get to clean stalls:hyper:
So you all have a great day,
Kim - I hope you're SILs baby and SIL are safe and your feeling better .
Betsy

Hi everyone!

Zen1 - have a GREAT time in WDW. I've got my own laundry to do for camping.....I want to have everything clean - so we'll have our pick of clothes.

DalPal - sounds like you're going to have a fun day! So nice to spend time with grandbabies!

Kim - The movie I wanted to see was Pointe Break with Keanau Reeves and Patrick Swayze. I haven't seen it in years. Unfortunately, it was supposed to start at 11:30, but at 11:30 they were only half way through with another movie. Either my TV Guide was off, or the channel was. So, I went to bed.

Today, we've taken out all our camping gear and checked it. We also purchased some last minute items. Tomorrow, I'll purchase the foodstuffs we'll take AFTER I volunteer most of the day. Then we head out Tuesday!

Well, it's rapidly approaching nap time (2pm) so I'll scoot. Ya'll have a great Sunday!

Hi to Cruisin, BP, Wendy, Kevin, SnowAngel and all the rest!

 everyone, I have returned :teeth:

Wow, Hollyann and Zen1 are both going to be at WDW next week.!!!!! I hope that you both have a great vacation. Think about us while you are there!

We had a good time camping last night. It was too windy for the guys to play with their remote control airplanes though. The girls went to the mall for awhile in the afternoon and the guys went to the hobby store and out to the flying field to check on the wind situation.

We had a great Thanksgiving dinner at the campground. Turkey, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, baked beans, mixed vegetables, stuffing, squash. For dessert there was lemon meringue pie and blueberry crisp, I didn't have any dessert though. Later on just because it was there we had to roast a few weiners over the fire, not that we were hungry of course.

For breakfast we had omelets that my husband made, and sausage, bacon, toast, and cinnamon buns that others contributed.

We came home and had Thanksgiving dinner at my parents house this evening. It was good too, very similar menu with a few minor changes as last nights dinner.

Oh Brer_Papa, as we were sitting around the campfire the subject of different types of meats came up. A few of the guys said that they have eaten squirrel. ::yes:: . But apparently Canadians are more refined in their squirrel eating habits than Americans :p . The guys said that they would NEVER eat the McNugget part of the squirrel  :crazy2:

Hey there Cruisin - welcome back and (again) happy thanksgiving! Since tomorrow is the official holiday - are you cooking another turkey?

I did notice that zen1 and I are going to be in the parks at the same time! However, DH and I are just camping there, not going to any of the parks or off Ft. Wilderness property. But we're excited.

Well not much happening today. It's been quiet. I'm gonna sit with DH and watch some TV!

C-ya!

Hi Ann

No fancy dinners for tomorrow. My son is going to Thanksgiving dinner at his girlfriend's house but that is all. Have no idea what we will eat tomorrow, although my mother sent home enough leftovers to last for awhile.

Hello ladies!

SIL came home from the hospital late yesterday. She's on bedrest for the next 2 weeks, at least. Not sure how that'll work with an almost 3yo to care for also. :( Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. :D

Then, this morning we got a call from FIL that MIL is in the hospital again, and she could go anytime now. :( We were the first to arrive there this afternoon, and they were just moving her into a hospice room. She doesn't want them to do anything, besides pain meds. The carbon dioxide levels are really high, and her organ(s) will begin to shut down soon. :( 5 of the 8 kids are now here, 2 more flying in tomorrow, and the 8th hasn't been reached yet. :( I think once all the kids get here, they'll start her on morphine, and then she'll at least be without pain. Thoughts and prayers again, if you don't mind.

As far as me feeling better, my MIL said to me "Don't give me your cold", after she heard me cough. :p She's still got a great sense of humor!

Happy Thanksgiving Canadian Friends!

Kim, so sorry to hear about all of your troubles. Just what you needed on top of feeling so lousy. :(

Rest assured that you and your family will be in my thoughts during this hard time.

No I'm not really a sweetheart at all, but I try hard to imitate one sometimes :teeth:

Nah, there's no imitation with you - you're the REAL thing!!! :teeth:

Kim - you're in my prayers. I lost my beloved MIL in January....your sense of humor and good cheer will be a real balm to her in the days to come. Chin up, girlfriend.

Threadkillers - I'm out to walk 3 miles with hubby then volunteer, shop for the camping trip at two places (one butcher sells the best steaks!) then back home! I'll chat with ya soon!

Good Morning my fellow threadkillers,
Kim, I am sorry to hear about your MIL and I am glad your SILand baby are ok. .......I send a hug and a prayer for you and yours.
Well it doesnt look that great out today, but its early yet. Ill keep my hopes up for a nice day for a little longer......We will see.
Busy day yesterday.....Fred was a great success. Although his fashion makeover didnt really happen all that well..... All I had for fred to wear(I just threw out a ton of old clothes)was a red plaid shirt and a pair of blue totally different kind of plaid pants. He will stand out on my front yard for sure!:jester:
I never got the yard mowed, but The horses are very glad I got there stalls cleaned.
My poor DH was making omelets for the family and after seven he noticed his wrist was hurting. He put siding up all the day before and hes also a programer, So we are figuring it might be carpletunnel syndrome....But boy it came on fast and It is very painful for him. He went to work today( my DS gave him a brace to use), but said if he doesnt feel better he will go to the doc.(For my DH to be willing to go to the doc. it has to be really painful)
Cruisin'Kroezes.... Im am glad you had a good time camping and Happy Thankgiving!
Holly and Zen...... I am so green...But I do hope you both have a great time at WDW. Holly, I even envy you just staying at FW...Hey you are in nice warm sunny Fl and as much as I like the fall(the colors are amazing here by the way)it just means that winter is on the wayBRRRRR!
Well I am not going to do a thing today:teeth: Unless something unforseeable comes up( it usually does)
Have a good one guys,
Betsy:wave2:

Morning everyone!

Kim... :grouphug:  ...I recently went through the same thing with my grandma so if you need to talk anytime just PM me. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Take care of yourself!

You're all so kind, you make me want to cry. I've been doing a bit of that lately.

I'm doing some laundry right now, and then I'll head to the hospital. At 5:30, I have to go to the park and register DD for soccer. I might go back to the hospital after that, I'll see. It's back to school and work tomorrow, unless the inevitable happens, so I can't keep DD up too late each night. I'll try to maintain some kind of schedule until it's out of my hands. :(

Thank you ALL!

Try and have a good day Kim. I know it won't be easy, too much to think about, too many emotions to deal with.

How old is your MIL? Has she had a good life?

This is something I have not had to deal with yet. All four of our parents are still alive and fairly young, age range from 69- 76 yrs. They are not all in the best of health, my dad has had 2 triple bypass surgeries and my FIL had a heart attack 2 years ago (brought on by the stress of dealing with my MIL's mental state). My MIL is slowly losing her eye sight (and her mind ;) , not too emotionally stable). My mom is not doing too bad health wise.

I lost my grandfathers when I was young, one when I was three the other at about 12 (but I didn't have much contact with him). I kept my grandmothers until I was 30 and then 40 years old, so I was very lucky there too.

I know there will be many hard days ahead for us to handle too.

Remember that we are always here for you :grouphug:

Hi SnowAngel, Dalpal, Luckymommy and Hollyann :wave2:

Hope everyone is having a good day. It is very sunny here today but quite chilly.

It is a holiday and I am not doing anything more than whatever the mood strikes me to do at the time!!! So that means I will be on the DIS boards a lot today :D

:cheer2: Today is the one year anniversary of my first post on the DISboards!!!!!!!!!!

My, my, haven't I been a busy little poster

Ooh! Happy Anniversary! What a milestone! Are you & Rick going to celebrate?

Well, we've got most everything packed and we're ready to go! We'll hit the sack early tonight so we can get a good start tomorrow!

Ya'll take care and behave yourselves while I'm gone......I'll miss you!
