Stop Sitting On Your Hands, Threadkillers! Chat, chat, chat!

Ya'll have been SOOO quiet these last few days. How is everyone? Today, hubby and I got up extra early and went to b'fast (surprised?) and then walked 3 miles. After that, I got my hair cut (I have really short hair - I hate hair - why can't bald be in sytle for women?). Then we went shopping. After that, we came home, had lunch, read and took a nap! I've got a load of laundry in and dinner is on.

Ooh, the sister's are coming this weekend! Tom is staying at my folks house (they're in Michigan) so we can Karaoke until the sun comes up! We also plan on doing some bowling....and my sister who lives in Panama City is thinking of moving to the Jacksonville area! That will put all the sisters less than an hour away from each other! How cool will that be? Three pink bouncies for three sisters!

Well, ya'll have a great evening. I'll keep checking on ya. BTW, do you think BrerPapa was swept up by a lurker sweeper? I hope they drop him off at a good fair!

I got home from the Cubs game a short time ago. It rained most of the game, but they didn't delay it until the middle of the 7th. We waited a few minutes, and then left. They were winning 12-4 when we left, and it was an official game, and we ALL have early mornings tomorrow, so we called it quits. I don't think I've ever left early before. Saw a grand-slam tho, I think that was the first I saw 'live'. We walked in the house as the Cubs won the game!! 13-4 I believe. So, during the 1 hour rain delay, we made it partly home, better than getting home an hour from now.

DD starts 1st grade tomorrow, with her newly pierced ears! While I get to sit around (yeah right) for the next 1-1/2 weeks until my job starts again. I'm extremely thankful to have the job I do, and the boss I do, and the HOURS/DAYS I do!! LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!

Hi everyone....I was just going thru a few of the first posts on this thread....and realized alot of people haven't been posting.

Bunkins, philaround, suzanne,wishydo(well she's been missing for awhile)...then I noticed MaryAnn's count down timer was still going ...in 9 days she was suppose to go back to the Boardwalk with her DH, I can only imagine what he's going thru right now.

So on a happier note...Kim, your little is going to GRADE 1, you must be proud! The big time....don't they grow up WAY to fast!

When Lauren was 5, I gave her this huge hug and asked her not to grow up but to stay 5 forever. She took my face in her little hands, looked me straight in the eyes and in the sweetest little 5 year old voice said " Mommy, I'll try but thtat's a promise I don't think I'll be able to keep."---sigh-----they grow way TOO to fast!

Well here we go again! GOOD MORNING THREADKILLERS!

I hope ya'll are having a happy day. Here I am, in my Mickey Mouse jammies getting ready to start the day!

Hubby is at the range with a buddy of his, so no walking! I'm getting ready to meet DD & DGS for an early lunch (what no b'fast?!) and some shopping. We were going to go swimming, but GS woke up booger-licious!

After that, who knows?! I think I'll make something fun for dinner, but low-carb. Heck, fun may mean no cooking or cooking with hot sauce. It's that kind of a fun, funky day!

I've gotta make the bed and get in the rain locker before I meet my DD, so I've got to scoot. But in the meantime ya'll have a GREAT day and looking forward to "chatting" with ya'll later! I've been thinking of all the missing threadkillers - I've been reading all the old posts. Come back, Shane, come back!

Sounds like you have a full day planned Ann. I have to take my daughter to dress rehearsal for Thursday nights dance recital. I am about ready for dance to be done for the summer!!! I can't wait to see the recital though. It is absolutely phenomenal what these girls have accomplished in 3 short months of practice.

Pretty uneventful day here. Took DD to her 1st day, came home, went back to get her, blah, blah, blah. Maybe I'll do some laundry tomorrow when she's gone a whole day, rather than just 3 hours. Or, maybe I'll go visit my Mom.

Sheesh, 1/2 day of school, and I'm already bored. Work will be a welcome distraction next month.

Hi everyone!

Had a nice day. Met DD for an early lunch at Chic-fil-A. They have a huge play center. Since we were early, it was just me and GS! I climbed to the top and took him on the slide. It was quite a site - an old granny climbing that thing!

After we ate, we played on it some more (just GS) and he tripped and smacked his eye on the bottom of the slide. He's gonna have a shiner! Anyway, we figured that pool & shopping were out.

So, I went home and hubby came in right after that. He had lunch, we read and we took a nap! (What a HUGE surprise!). Anyway, when I woke up, I just decided that cooking wasn't in my immediate future, so we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner. They have a fairly decent low-carb menu. Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves and then went to the World Market - a neat-o store!

After that, we've been reading, relaxing, watching the tube and I'm listening to Christmas Music (Perry Como - gotta love him!) and surfing Amazon.com for Christmas DVD's.

The sister's decided that they are coming a day early and tomorrow, I'm crafting with DD! So, I'll be busy. I probably won't post this weekend, but just so you know, I won't be on a lurker sweeper!
