Evenin' everyone!

BP, remember this while awaiting the verdict, not only did she call you an incorrigible flirt, she started with K O O K! You're sure to win. ::yes::

Hmmmmmmmm, wonder what Annie's doing now? I think she's ahead in time zones. A little of this? A little of that? :love2: Maybe some of this? :lovestruc Or, this? puckerup: Lots of this? Probably not much of this. :chat:

Her & Tom make me .

OK, so do I have any takers for the Disney on Ice show next month? jfulcer & family may make it in again. I'm waiting to hear what price tickets he wants. Family of 4 it can get expensive. :(

Midnight *ALERT*!! (That's my self-imposed bedtime tonight) Anyone here at midnight, who sees me posting at midnight, shag my behind to bed, please. I have to get up early tomorrow and take DD to the Princess and the Pea play at 10:00AM. Ouch. Thank you for reading this *ALERT*.

:wave2: Kim

Maybe we don't want to know what Ann and Tom are doing

Unfortunately I won't be making it to Chicago to see the Disney on Ice Kim :( . But................ I will be going to visit with Mickey that weekend :smooth: :hyper: :sunny:

I am trying to get brave enough to book airline tickets on-line. I have never done that before so I am just a bit nervous about it.

We plan to leave on Wednesday Sept 22 and return on Monday the 27th. :teeth:

So I will have to pass on the Chicago meet again but some day soon I am going to try to make it there!!!!!

While I'm sad you can't make Chicago :(, I am very jealous of your alternate plans!!!!

No sweat! Give it a whirl! I've booked airlines, hotels, even used Priceline several times.

Robin it's easy, just push the keys!

 Kim and Wendy, I got brave and pushed the buttons and now I have flights to Orlando for 115.70, I think not too bad a price.

Now I am going to go and see if I can get the POP Century booked for $55.00 a night. :D

WOWZA Robin, Great Price on airfare, imo!!

OOps Kim, you better be gone to bed by now!!!!!!

Yes I have also booked the Pop Century on line now.

Wooo, am I getting internet savvy or what? ;)

I thought that was an excellent price too Kim. So it is $230.00 for both of us to fly, we have paid much more than that for one person before!!!!!

Yup we are flying Spirit too. (that's a total price with tax and everything already on it )

Hi everyone! It was SO nice to have hubby home. He brought pictures of Jakob (GS in CA) and he's so adorable!

Bunco was a lot of fun - DD won! I say beginners luck, but she swears it's pure skill!

Robin, GREAT prices on the tickets. They're running specials for Florida residents for POP Century, too, but when hubby and I go to the park - since we're only 3 hours away - it's usually a day trip. That's all he can stand of WDW. I'm grateful for what I can get and if I get to go with him - so much the better!

We went to b'fast (are you surprised?) this morning and spent the entire morning in a booth talking. Then we came home, I'm catching up on his laundry and we're reading, on-line and watching the olympics. Just a nice quiet day. I've got a doctors appointment at 3pm, so I'll have to leave in an hour.

Well, I gotta scoot. Ya'll take care and check-in with ya later!
Ann

:wave2: Ann

My husband says that he is Disneyed out too, but I am not:eek:

He has spent all summer "playing" with his remote control airplanes doing what he wants to do, now I think I should get to do what I want to do ::yes::

:teleport: I'm baaaack! LOL. Sorry abouthe the abbreviation, my friend has web tv instead of a PC and I just didn't like it...LOL..

But I digress, AC is Atlantic City. I live in the bordering city of Ventnor. So, they decided to make this ari show an annual thing. That's all well and good, but instead of having the air show at the airport, they decided to have it at the beach, over the ocean. That's fine and dandy too. Only problem is, I live a block and a half from the beach! And getting an air show for one day is more or less getting them for two days because the day before, they practice and whatnot. So, 8:30am on Tuesday they decide to fly the Thunderbirds over my house..LOL. I said to hell with this, called my friend and told her to pick me up, I was coming over for a couple of days! LOL. So, besides all the noise, they were expecting some 300,000+ for this event. If any of you have ever been to Atlantic City, you know that traffic would be a problem at midnight on a wednesday in the middle of February so, the idea of being sandwiched in amongst the spectators just didn't appeal to me this year. :crowded:

Maybe I'm just being whiney. I mean, I think it's great to have an air show, I really do. I just wish it wouldn't be right over my roof! LOL

So, how is everyone?

Btw, Kim, your new clippie is simply DEVINE! :jester:

Hi there everyone! One thing I forgot to mention - hubby came back with a TAN! He spent a lot of time on our son's top-deck porch (close to the beach!) and is really tanned! It's great to have him home.

MMF, I hope you had a nice time with your friend. I know what you mean about air shows - getting them twice. Hubby is a retired military man and we lived on or near a base all our married lives! So, we always got the show twice. We really liked the Blue Angels and we usually ended up hosting someone from the family - as they wanted to see the air show. After 20 or so, you do get a little tired of them, but they do have their charm.

Well, if ya'll will go back to page 263 on the Threadkillers thread, Cruisin and I were chatting about our trips to WDW and how we were going to be there at or close to the same time. Well, we decided to meet for lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table. Oh, we're dragging our hubbys along for the day, too! So exciting!

Kim, if I could afford to get to Chicago, I'd be there with ya'll at the Disney on Ice.....maybe another year. I still need to pay off my house! I know you're going to have a great time. Will you take pictures so we can see everyone?

Speaking of pictures.....I've been trying, but there's some sort of posting board that is down, so I can't get much further than step one! I'll keep trying and post a picture one of these days.

Oh! I went to the doctors today! My doctor is SO pleased with the weight I've lost and that my bloodsugar is undercontrol through my diet. Unfortunately, she said no matter what, I'll probably end up being a full-fledged diabetic, but we're trying to postpone that as long as possible! If I can control it through my diet, I'll push that horrible day back! Anyway, it was a great doctor's visit and it made me very happy!

We have spent the day relaxing. Read, played on the computer, and now that dinner is out of the way - we're going to watch some pre-season football! Ya'll take care and I'll check in with ya later!

Hi Kevin, nice to see you back again. So you had a mini-vacation huh ;)

:wave2: Ann. So we are going to Cinderella's Royal Table are we :p I am looking forward to meeting you and Tom and also to going to lunch at such a special place. We never do those fancy places. But like I told Ann, we are going to try and do a lot of different things we have never done before at Disney, so this will be part of the list :bounce:

Ann, this will be a Happy Birthday to you and to me lunch ::yes:: We are leaving on Sept 22 and my birthday is Sept 21!!

Anybody else want to come along and join us for lunch, please ..... you are all welcome too!!

Actually, my birthday is the 8th - so we'll both be celebrating! I'm going to the Mainstreet City Hall to get a birthday sticker! I'm willing to say it if you are! How many candles? It's the big four-oh for me!

Cinderella's Royal Table isn't that fancy, although they do have some great pictures at disneyworld.com. Everyone should eat at the castle once in their lives. The first time I did - it was SO magical! It seems that people don't realize there's a restaurant on the 2nd floor. If you get a window seat - you can look out at Fantasy Land.

Yes, please come for lunch. Let me know and I'll make the reservations! Holy cow - dare I say it? Two simultaneous Threadkiller DISMeets? Is that a record? Threadkillers Rock!

Coooolll, I never even thought about the birthday sticker thingey!!! I have read about it before but never really connected it to this trip. Do you think they will mind that it isn't exactly our birthdays on that day??

You bet, I will definitely go for the sticker ........... you getting one too?

Maybe that will be how we can "recognize" each other at the park;)

I am a smidge older than you being as I am celebrating with 48 :earseek: :earseek: candles this year

edited to add: then I hope we get a window seat too!!

Well I am off to take my daughter to dance class and won't be back until sometime after 10:30.

Have fun everybody!!

What exact days are you going to be In WDW Robin & Ann?

I've got to go to Atlanta Sept 13-15, I'm trying to get a cheap flight but if I can't, I may have to drive:moped: , And if I'm in Atlanta what's a few more hours onto the happiest place on earth???

So let me know.

Kim, I am GOING to come to Chicago to see the Lion King. I just haven't worked it into the budget yet. (It closed in Toronto before I could see it:( )

I think I am a thread killer. No one ever talks to me. They say I whine too much. :(
