Hey Brer_Papa, where are you????

Are you familiar with the big classic car show they have every year in Pebble Beach, California?

Well, the car that won Best in Show this year has many parts in it that were made by our company!!!! Cool huh!!! We can actually say we had a part in the restoration of a multi million show winning car!

It is a pretty cool looking car too. Very rare I guess. I never actually saw the car but my husband did, right before it was shipped out to the show in California.

Do you get the Speed channel???? At 11:30pm our time on a show called Car Crazy they are going to interview our friend who works at RM Restorations and talk about the car, (I think). I am in charge of taping it so early bird husband can go to bed If you get the chance to watch it, maybe they will show the winning car!

Ah Kevin, thanks again!! Yours ain't too bad either! Lemme know when those boards are back up again. And, I hear ya on those air shows. They do them over Lake Michigan, this weekend in fact, and although I live about 8 miles from the beach, I DO live near O'Hare airport, so sometimes those noisey buggers go right over my house, too! It is a great show, but once, maybe twice is enough for me. DS is in Indiana tonight, watching an air show there!

How great for you & Robin to be meeting in the most magical place on earth!!!! I'm green with envy, and I can't come. But, simultaneous meets, I don't know if that's EVER been done before. I know we've called other DISers from meets, but I don't think those people we're having a meet! Hey, maybe we could call each other, that would be something! Oh, BD girls, it's a button, not a sticker!!! At least it was in Dec. '02, and they don't ask for any proof or anything. I got one for my DD, who wasn't even with me. They just handed it over.

Wendy #1, you let me know when you're coming to Chicago, and we'll get a meet together, for sure!!!

Ya'll are just too much fun. Kim, I LOVED the next-to-last post you wrote with all the smilies and action. I think we can safely say that the Threadkillers will NOT meet at an airshow! We all seem to have the same opinion! Is the Disney on Ice show on the 23rd?

Cruisin, I'm with you....where IS BrerPapa? It's been days since we had a story and he should know that we want a BIG chunk of his time. He doesn't come out a lot before midnight - back to my Santa theory. He waits till all the kiddies have gone to sleep! I'm still not giving up on this theory - I guess we'll know at Christmas!

Oh, oh! Another big rumor! There is a rumor that ALL three of our kids are going to try to make it home for Christmas! That would be SO great if they could! Of course DD, DSIL & GS live 10 miles away now. Both sons & their wives live in California. One son is debating - he may take his wife & baby (Jakob) on a cruise instead. Not that I'd complain about that one! But I hope he decides to come - does that make me greedy?

Cruisin - I thought you'd like Cinderella's Royal Table and I'm pretty much stuck eating a diabetic diet, so I usually have to go to table service. I'm going to call them tomorrow and see what they offer. It's too bad, I always loved the chocolate covered, frozen bananas! My loss, but it beats using insulin!

Well, I'm going to stop for now - I tend to get really chatty when you put a keyboard under my fingers! Maybe I can check in on ya'll before beddy bye. It depends on how much smoochie-dooing is goin' on!
