When we arrive we don't go through the MK parking toll booth. We come off I-4 Westbound onto Exit 67 EPCOT/Downtown Disney. Make our first right at Bonnet Creek Parkway. We cross Buena Vista Dr. and follow (passing OKW, POFQ, POR) to Visa Blvd. left at the light and we are THERE! It seems faster and easier. But you HAVE to enter the TRADTIONAL way the first time you go-it's just FUN! Now we just want to get there before traffic gets nuts on I-4.:santa:

It all depends on the direction we come in from. Sometimes we come down 27 then left on 192, so we use the front gate. If we come down I4, we use the back entrance.

I come from the south, turnpike north to osceola to world then through the MK right turn following the greenline I think to the campground.

This is the route we use both coming and going. The only time we go up near the MK, is to get diesel fuel at the Hess, or, if we are driving to the WL.

LOVE those pictures!!:goodvibes I don't know why they call it the greenway-it's NOT green-HA!:rotfl2:

We leave the ft. the same we enter-it takes FOREVER to get out if you turn right out of FTW (and go past the TTC) but if you need gas that would make sense to go that way.

When first arriving we use the main gate. We look forward to seeing the welcome signs. Other than that we use the back way going by POFQ, OKW etc.

We take that same route. The kids like to drive by Down Town Disney because it builds the anticipation!

When I arrive, I come in through the MK gate because I come in 429 and Western Way and it's just quicker, but if I run to Wal-Mart, I'll come in the other way past POFQ and OKW.

That's of course when I'm driving.

I have come to the Fort by way of Magical Express :-)

We also take the back way. It is much easier, and we don't have to worry about scrubbing the tires on the curbs at the main parking gate to MK.

I always enter through the MK gate. I want everyone to know I am back!!!!!!!!!!  Once we are there and need to head out toward Orlando, I go out Vista Blvd and stay on it all the way through the maintenance area.

We enter WDW via Exit 62B I-4 East which is the start of World Drive. The best part about using that entrance onto WDW property is that the BIGGEST Mickey power pole head greets us everytime we complete the exit ramp turn like he is saying, Welcome Back. We also use the entrance back onto I-4 West when leaving WDW because Mickey is again there this time saying, See You Real Soon.

I bet most people never get to see this awesome Mickey Head.

The back way I've always use if going to 535 is not to turn right onto Bonnet Creek Pkwy, but continue straight on Vista Blvd and then turn right onto Live Oak Ln and then right onto N. Buena Vista Dr. and go down to Preview Blvd/Hotel Plaza Blvd and to SR 535. The Bonnet Creek Pkwy might be shorter, but the way we go only has two SL and two Stop signs and absolutely no traffic except for service vehicles.

For years we came down 535, from the turnpike, and then in the backstage roads ( E Buena Vista Dr ) to DVC Way. Then turn toward FW or Boardwalk depending on where we were staying. That was before we found the 429 Tollroad :cheer2:. Now we take that ( almost no traffic so far ) then turn onto E Buena Vista to Bonnet Creek and left on Vista Blvd. We then go right into the overflow lot to unload the golf cart and drop the trailer.

we come down 27 onto 192 and through the MK Gate...quick and easy.

Where are you coming from when you do that? That's our favorite way to get to WDW, we love driving through horse country above Ocala. The kids consider that first turn off of 192 onto World drive the first ride of the trip because of the curve of the exit ramp. (ETA; I just saw that you're from Homosassa, how far from WDW are you?)

This past trip we came in on 95/4 and took a vote about exiting at the first Disney exit which would have been faster and taken us right to FW or going on to the traditional front entrance and tradition won.

The second entrance off of 4 is faster (DTD EPCOT exit) If we go the traditional-main gate entrance-we travel farther and end up in a circle. We live in Winter Park so it's a 30 min. drive. East to west. I have taken the back entrance where the service vehicles run off of Vista but that's a bit longer from where we're coming from.

It's great hearing all the ways everyone enters the happiest place on earth-Ft. Wilderness:thumbsup2

the problem is the hard right into the campground...... we usually take the tunnel under the lake and then ferry our camper across the lagoon.

parachuting never seemed to work, we always ended up on the golf course.
