Who else is staying at POP CENTURY the last week of AUGUST?

Just found out yesterday! Aug. 22-29 at POP! So excited!!! See you all there!!!

The DH and I will be at the Pop from 8/29 (my birthday ) to 9/4 for our very first trip to the World! I am very excited. Hope to meet some of you there!!

8/29 is my birthday too! We are booked from 8/23 thru 8/31 at BWI, but are thinking of changing to a value (surprise! DS's braces have to go one six months earlier than planned!).

You folks sound like a fun bunch - maybe we'll switch to POP!

I'll be there August 31 - September 1st. Was there in December and had no plans to go this year. However, free dining netted a trip to the world for my granddaughter, 17 (she hasn't been since 1999), so decided to treat her again. 6 days, 5 nights in preferred, 6 day park hoppers - $1451.21 total (including air) for 2!!! Using ME (loved it in December).

Just booked this week, so I'll be there (POP) with my DS's 11 & 13 from 8/29 - 9/3. Couldn't resist the free dining. We went during the same time period last year and it was FANTASTIC. No crowds, no lines. Great food! ADR's are made. Just need flights.

Stayed at CBR last year and took several morning runs to POP. I thought it was really cute, so I'm looking forward to a great stay there.

Hi there! Yes my daughter knows all about the trip.. can't keep any secrets from her. she ALSO goes to sleep with the Disney books, dbating which rides and which restaurants!

I'm not sure yet how we are coming down! Prices on Southwest are still too high for me,.. We are toying with the idea of driving.... I also am thinking of Amtrak or driving down to Lorton Virginia and hopping on the Auto train! So many thoughts!

See I can keep thinking of things to think about!

AND YES It wasn't HOT enough for Dh to go in the pool in AUgust last year! He just doesn't get in the pool! Alll I know Is Jenna and I loved the pool! Especially the quieter one near the Mighty ducks!

So your daughter is already planning too, eh? That's neat. I remember planning which rides I wanted to go on when we would go to Disneyland. I probably started doing that when I was 8 to 10 years old. None of my kids do that yet. They just go with the flow (or go where the grown ups suggest).

Regarding Southwest, I noticed that their airfare alone was a lot of money. It was a lot more reasonable, however, when I booked the whole package thru swavacations.

We're there 8/13-20....first time at the POP!

Haven't told the kids yet - I think we are waiting until we are 100 days away....which is only 2 weeks or so!!!

We have decided to upgrade to CSR for our trip. DH is just not sure of POP and since we weren't even planning to go this year til the free dining came out (and I begged ), I thought I better let him have a little input...so now he has....and now he's done! No control issues here! Someday I WILL stay at POP. I was really looking forward to the frozen cokes! Hope you all have great trips!
