I read on Barbs website that there is a Man in Key West Mallory Square that does a performing Cat show. I love cats also but the only trick my cats know is "trip my master everytime she comes down the stairs"

I just changed my hotel reservations for Friday nite to the Radisson at Port Canaveral. Does anyone know if the hotel offers a shuttle to the terminal? And if they do, is it very crowded? I am wondering if I am better off taking a taxi to the terminal rather than waiting for everyone at the hotel to take 1 shuttle bus.

And Lisa....sorry I forgot in the previous post to say that I think the Performing Cat show is in Mallory Square at Key West in the late afternoon/early evening. I read it on Barbs website

Hi everyone!!! Only 10 days till we meet everyone and cruise away to a week of fun! (Didn't mean for that to rhyme!) Anyway, my cabin # is 6612 and we will be with friends in 6614. They are Gordon and Rae and their 2 boys Grant ( 6 in July) and Will (3 1/2). I have the list of cabin #'s written down so I can deliver any buttons to anyone who misses our fabulous, once-in-a-lifetime, not-to-be-missed, DIS meet! (Roger, we'll miss you but have fun at the Space Center...we'll meet up with you later, I'm sure!)

Verniebird, as for the Radisson shuttle - sign up when you get there. Here's a hint however, if you go out earlier and there aren't a lot of people either the Radisson shuttle or the Avis shuttle will take you over. They try and do groups to the same ship. In February we were signed up for the 10:30 shuttle but were talking to fellow DIS'ers about 9:45 when the Avis shuttle showed up and asked if we wanted a ride to the port. We all went over together.

Thanks for the reply Mary. It sounds like there will be a lot of cruisers at the Radisson so I am a bit concerned about the shuttles being very crowded. I am renting a car from Avis at the Orlando airport on Weds and returning it to the counter at the Radisson on Friday. I guess I could sign up for a shuttle with either Radisson or Avis?

Are you staying at the Radisson also? I was going to stay by Orlando but changed my plans, got a last minute reservation so I could meet everyone before the cruise starts.

After a 13 months, I can't believe we are down to single digits! (The excitment is keeping my mind off my terrible fear of flying )

OK....May 1st.....9 days and counting.....cannot wait....yes I can....just want it to slowwwwww.....down......when we get on the ship.....and get to eat great big shrimp on the welcome aboard buffet....by the way....has anyone gone to dinner at Topsiders if you don't like the menu on a particular night?

We are not staying at the Radisson. We are flying down Saturday morning this trip. We stayed at the Radisson in February before our cruise and we met up with a lot of great DIS'ers out by the pool. Really got the cruise started early for us. We met up at 7 and talked until past 10 that night! The next morning without planning we met up with two of the couples and went over in the shuttle with them.

We did hear that on that Saturday (we were a Sunday sailing on the Wonder) that a DCL bus had stopped by to pick up. Don't know if/how they know so many are staying there. The shuttles run constantly and it is only about a 5-10 minute trip to drop people off. The drivers hustle because they know people want to get their vacations started!

You only sign up for the Radisson shuttle, but honestly I've never seen them go by the list. When the shuttle comes if there are people waiting they load them up and off they go.

The only thing I have seen them do is to try and put everyone for one ship on each run (since there are at least two other ships leaving the same day as the Magic or Wonder).

Ok everyone staying at the Radisson- keep some "good dis-friends" spots open for those of us who won't be able to join you the night before at the pool dis-meet!

I can't believe how close we are getting- it is a good thing I will pretty much be busy right up until we leave to keep me from going totally crazy! I have sports going on right up until Wed. before we leave.

So ladies, what's the verdict on what everyone is wearing for formal night, semi-formal night and Palo??

Here's what I'm thinking for me:
Palo: black cocktail dress
Semi-formal: flapper dress
Formal: floor length blue dress

I haven't been able to dress up in awhile so I'm really excited about it!

Can't wait to meet you all on board!
