Who Else Is Going in August 2010?! **LIST in 1st POST**

We're anticipating our yearly trip this August. Last year I posted the same question and the list was surprisingly long! So, is anyone else going this August to bake in the Orlando heat ?

We will be at OKW (first stay there) from 8/15 to 8/20.

We're doing a split stay in August:
Aug 1-7: BLT (2BR MK View)
Aug 7-13: AKV (1BR SV - Jambo)

We will be from July 30th to August 5th--3 nights at BCV in a studio and then 3 nights in a 1 bedroom LV at BLT!!!

We can't wait--I wish time would go fast!!! Of course, only 23 more days and I am done with work for the summer!!!!

We are going august 14-17 to akv in a 2 br value and then august 17-22 on a 5 night dcl cruise with key west

We usually do two trips a year February President's week and August 2nd to last week...and I am happy to say we will be at AKV from August 15-17 although not a full week as in the past years...we decided to head to the Bahamas for the rest of the week...especially since we stayed last year for 10 days and CL...we kinda sorta used most of our points...

August 20 - August 27 2 nights BWV studio, then over to BLT 2BR when DD and DGS arrive! Can't wait!

As of now we have reserved AKV Kidani for 8/4-12.

We normally go end of August/last week of August (always worried about summer school, camps and/or NY Regents). This year we had reserved 3 nights at Vero and 5 nights at WLVs. Because of medical reasons with my parents and sister, I cancelled our plans. I tried to re-book but nothing available. I am on the waitlist for these two resorts again since I was going with my brother and his family (also dvc members). Hoping to go but will see how things are a month before our reservation.

We will be at OKW July 31st to August 8th! Celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and our daughter's 16th birthday! We are taking her best friend with her as her 16th birthday gift! Woot 58 days till we are home!

I will be staying at BLT from July 25th through August 4, 2010. Initially purchased SSR and just couldn't wait for BLT to open, this will be my first return home to BLT.

Us, too! Aug 8 - 13 at BLT. Taking some friends of our DS16 for their first visit along with our DGS8 for the first time as well. We're pretty excited. It's been pretty gloomy around here so we need the WDW pick-me-up. Hoping the heat doesn't drain too much of that away!!

We will be going home for our first trip 8/21 at Kidani for 7 nights then we spend a week in at BLT coming home 9/4.

I am not sure who is more excited, the kids or my wife and I.

We're going Aug 15 - Aug 20 SSR. Our yearly bake in the sun WDW high humidity trip. My DH can't wait to get his refillable mug, hates to make his own coffee.

I'm going with my mom, brother & his fiance' (my dh isnt able to take additional time off work for this 1) we have 2 studios - savannah view at Kidani from August 28 - Sept. 3 -- I cant wait! I only get to see my brother once or twice a year, so vacationing with him for a week at WDW is going to be so much fun!

We're taking a quick, long-weekend trip in August so DH can attend the Last Tour to Endor event at Hollywood Studios. We're planning to be there August 13-15. I'm not sure where we'll stay just yet, as we've allocated all our DVC points to our November/December trip. We're considering a studio at BLT with cash.

What is the "Last Tour" event you're refering to? I haven't seen anything about it, but then again, I only (usually) browse the DVC boards. I'm guessing it's Star Wars related which our boys would love.
