Almost 50 here and no I never even tried one! I was VERY picky when younger, I ate reg. hamburgers and no onions or pickles or mustard please....ketchup only. the "special sauce" won't let me try Big Macs. I know it has relish and relish is chopped up pickles....no way am I eating that!!!

Just some facts here from my years of working at McDs.

A hamburger is 1/10th of a lb of meat.

They use 2 hamburgers in a Big Mac (also in a double cheeseburger). So that's 2/10th of a lb OR .2 lbs.

For all you folks thinking it's too much meat.....um..... a quarter pounder is .25 lb of meat.

The Big Mac is less meat.

And if you've ever REALLY looked at those hamburg patties --- they are NOT very big at all. A cheeseburger is really TOO much bread & not enough meat in my opinion.

OK.... now those DOUBLE Quarter Pounders are TOO MUCH MEAT! Yuck!

Wll it was without the MEAT! Being a vegetarian I used to get a #1 when I was driving home once a month but when they revealed that they were coating the fries with meat flavor I just stopped going to McD even for a coke.

So yes #1 hold the MEAT was not too bad

Nope. I haven't touched fast food in a long time, but even when I did eat it, I never ate big Macs.

McChicken sandwiches were another matter, however.

Never had a Big Mac. I have had a Whopper in the past. Haven't eaten fast food for over 3 years unless I count getting a salad at the airport.

*IF* I go to McDonalds(very rarely) a Big Mac is what I order. They are pretty darn good and if a rare treat, not too damaging. I tend to be a Wendy's salad kinda girl.

LOL That reminds me of a friend who goes to Sonic and orders a Foot Long Coney - without the wiener.

I eat nothing from MacDonalds except coffee and Egg McMuffins.

Too funny. I probably indulge maybe twice a year, but since I started South Beach in January, I have had this awful craving for a Big Mac. (Must be strong, must resist.)

I can definitely sing the original jingle from back in the Stone Age. Weren't they made from dinosaur meat when I was a teen?

That's just too much burger for me. I still get the plain cheeseburgers like what comes in the happy meals!

My sister is a Big Mac addict and eats them all the time with fries and a shake.
