Not only do we not have our tree up but I have yet to buy a single gift. :headache: NO cash lying around right now means no shopping. I'm so stressed. :sad1:

Well....I just finished hanging the wreaths in the windows.

Hubby brought up the tree this morning (ours is artificial/pre lit). It comes in 3 sections. Right as I type, one section is in the living room, one in the dining room and one in the middle of the kitchen. I should be putting it together now, but I hung the last wreath in my bedroom window, right next to the computer...and..well....Here I am!!!

Let's see - I hear banging up in the attic - a nail gun - a circular saw.....no - I don't think the tree is going up today either..:rotfl:

Nope it isn't up and I don't see a free day anytime in our near future that has enough free time to do it:eek: On the plus side....all of the shopping is done.:cool1:

Nope, DDs bday is the 15th....we let her decide when to decorate, this year she chose after we get back from Disneyland, so somewhere around the 19th is our scheduled decorate day. :)

No tree here yet! Tuesday is my last final and everything is on hold until then. Actually, DH decorated the front of the house with the kids today. I've done very little shopping, too. I can't wait for that last stinking final!!!!!!!!!:dance3:

We've celebrated 4 of 5 family Dec BD's this week :thumbsup2! Believe me, it's been quite the party week , in which two were for yours truly :smooth:! Even got DS's BD & C'mas pkg sent to AFG :goodvibes. After all the BD celebrations, the holiday mood ususally kicks in and I take full advantage of the 12 days of C'mas when we start to decorate and send out cards. My DH is undergoing more testing , so we're thinking postive and trying not to let it damper the spirit. Sending hugs to all ~ here's hoping the reason for the season spirit kicks in for you and yours soon! :goodvibes

We don't. We're probably going to get ours this weekend.

No decorations for us this year. I'm just not feeling "into it". I've bought the gifts, though...they are wrapped and stacked in a box in our spare bedroom.

Ok the tree is up but no lights or decorations yet....taking it one step at a time.

Tree just got put up last night, but we may have to get a new one - it is 8 years old - prelit, and the lights are not working. I really don't want to shell out $ for another one right before Christmas, when I could get a great sale on one after, but we have to host the neighborhood Christmas party in 2 weeks:scared1:. We could get some lights and string them up but I don't know if it will look good w/ the many strings of lights already on the tree. We had a great vacation in Disneyland, but wow, has it made me behind this year. I have 1 more suitcase to unpack, about 20 loads of laundry to do (we got back Thurs. & have had a full weekend of kid activities - piano recital, basketball, cub scouts). I haven't started any shopping yet (it took so much time to get ready for our trip w/ 3 kids), haven't decorated the house yet - I am majorly stressing. I told DH no more vacations close to the holidays. We have to spend Christmas skiing in Colorado (6 hours away) w/ my extended family, so I'll be packing again in a few weeks (spending 5 days there). In between is Christmas w/ DH's family, the neighborhood party here, helping at school w/ parties and the usual nuttiness of pre-school, dance, piano, etc, etc, etc. I am trying to get into the holiday spirit but sometimes I want to cry - there is sooooo much to do! Thanks for letting me vent - I will atempt to go put my big girl panties on, chug some coffee and get started! I am blessed w/ a healthy family and we have a nice home & food on the table, so I vow to be grateful for what is truly important & let my kids see a cheerful mom! :santa:

It is just me and the fiance in the house, so we have a little one in the house, and only one decoration (Mickie ornament) the poor thing looks like a Charlie Brown tree

My friends think that I should get a bigger tree, though but I can't hep but love my poor little branch
