If I am a DVC member and need to make ADRs do I call the Member Services 800 number and they will connect me or do I call the (407) WDW-Dine number (which will be long distance)?
Good to know, like a rookie I called the general number for this past visit. Wonder if there's an advantage to the member number....afterall we are paying dues.
Is there any advantage to using MS rather than the WDW-DINE number (other than toll free vs toll call)? If we go through MS, do we get connected to DVC CM's, or ADR CM's
When I made my reservations with MS, I made my ADRS at the same time so no, they're not different. When I cancelled my June reservation at VWL, I cancelled my ADRS at Lecellier, etc with the same person.
Thanks to all of you--I called and spoke with a wonderful CM from DVC-MS yesterday who took me through my first set of ADRs ever (7 days' worth)! It took a long time (about 40 minutes) but he was really patient and helpful and it went very smootly.
What if you are calling for the hard to get ADR's? I know MS opens at 9am, but doesn't the WDWDINE # open earlier? If I want to book LeCellier 180 days out which # should I call? I do usually use MS to make ADR's but there are some ADR's for our upcoming trip I really want to make sure I get!!
I use the WDW-Dine # if I need something like Cinderella's castle but otherwise I call MS. I have had cases where WDW-DIne wouldn't help me, they told me I have to book through MS.

Well, because of some family issues (Mom in hospital) I called two days late from 180 days and still got every ADR I wanted--including CRT and Le Cellier.
