I am from Kamloops, BC. I was last at WDW in Sept/Oct 2005 for the free DDP and can hardly wait to go again. We generally fly out of Seattle instead of Vancouver as it is quite a bit cheaper!!
We are from Langley, BC. We have been DVC owners at BWV since 2006 and have been going twice a year since. We drive to Seattle for cheaper (and direct) flights. We have an Alaska Airlines M/C so get airmiles, as well as a $50 companion fare every year, which makes things a bit cheaper at least once a year.
Everyone thinks we're crazy and can't understand the "magic"...but everytime we go, it's like the first time
Hi to all westerners! We're in Camrose, Alberta (just south of Edmonton). Just got back from an Easter week trip to WDW and stayed for very first time as DVCers at our home resort, SSR. Loved it! Busy, though...would like to return in off-peak time to relax and really enjoy the extras.
We're taking off in July for an Adventure by Disney to the Emerald Isle, Ireland. 100 or so days to go!

Ado121, You can get the mastercard off of the Alaska airlines website. There is a link for it. I got one a few years back and it has allowed our family of three to get to Orlando usually for under $1000.00 using a combination of the miles and companion ticket. I just got my husband to get one also(I'm going to cancel mine) because right now they're offering 20,000 miles with approval. A flight to Orlando is generally 25,000 and LAX is 20,000. I think this is the first time they've offered this to Canadians. The card is an MBNA mastercard to answer your original question It's is such and awesome deal I had to register and post for the first time to tell you all about it! Not a lurker anymore I guess
Wow, the Western DISers list is still growing - that is fantastic!!! Somehow, it makes me happy that there are so many of us in the west, it's like our own little DIS group
That would be so fun!!! Could you send some pixie dust this way that my dh will actually enjoy himself at WDW enough for me to talk him into DL next year?
we are from Western Canada...45 min NW of Calgary to be exact. My SIL, who is coming to WDW with us in December, lives in Victoria, so she definitely qualifies as a west coaster. Now if only I could get her to become a DISer....
I lived 5 minutes from Parksville (Coombs) for the past four years and I loved it, although it was costing too much to commute to work so back to Victoria we went.
We are new to the West Coast and to Disboards.
We just moved out to Wainwright from Petawawa, Ontario. Hubby is in the military so home is where they send us !!!
