Whistle??

Here now and do not remember the boat marina whistle being sooo loud at 10PM tht we could hear it in 800 loop.

Is this normal every night?

Heard it today in the 1200 loop. Not unusual. Haven't noticed it this evening. Maybe the wind direction?

That must be it - just now stopped.

Plus I quess with leaves blown from trees, the noise carries louder.

We love hearing the whistles....even 1/2 asleep it reminds us where we are!

When I camped last time in loop 2000 I could hear Illumintions fireworks from EPCOT, the MK fireworks (and could see them partly over the tops of the trees), hear the boat toots coming into the Fort marina, and even the steam whistle from the MK train.

Camping at the Fort (especially under canvas/in a tent) can be an auditory experience.
