Could anyone tell me how soon I can make my reservation for Dinner?, we are travelling from the UK and have never eaten here but it sounds like great fun!, and what is the best way to get to the Wildernes Lodge?, we are staying off site in a villa, but will be driving to the parks on most days.

You can make your ADR 180 days out.

You can drive directly to Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort from wherever you are staying.

Driving directions from offsite (without knowing your villa location). Go up World Drive (the main entrance from Highway 192) and follow the signs for Magic Kingdom. You will have to go through the Magic Kingdom tollbooths but you will not have to pay. Get as far over to the right as you can (buses are on the very far right so as close as you can get). Tell the attendant you having dinner at Wilderness Lodge. You will wave you through. As soon as you go past the booth, get into the right lane and follow the signs to Wilderness Lodge. I believe it's the first right. It's well marked but people sometimes don't understand that they have to go through the tollbooths.

If you are going to be in the Magic Kingdom, you could take the boat to wilderness lodge. We did and it was pretty neat to see the resort from the water as it was getting dark.

Many thanks for all your replies, do we have to pay for the boat from Magic Kingdom to the Wilderness Lodge?, I don't mind paying just don't want to look like a complete fool who doesn't know what she's doing!!

You don't need to pay for any Disney transportation inside Walt Disney World. Boats, buses and monorails are free.
