With the exception of Labor Day, crowds will be smaller at the beginning of the month, and increase as September goes on.

Unless Florida is pummled by 4 hurricanes again this year. :)

The week the hurricane comes to Orlando? (Just kidding)

When will everybody goes back to school?

It was dead the last week of September, this year. But I'm sure thats because Jeanne was heading in!! We were suppose to be down there during frances and our trip was cancelled, and we changed it and Jeanne ended up shortening our trip!!
We were, also, down there during hurricane Floyd in 99 and crowds weren't back 9/12 - 9/26...but that is most of the month :0) After our last hurricane experience, not sure if we would do september again!!!

The start of school varies around the nation.

Some schools start back in August. The latest I've heard is the Wednesday after Labor Day. That's when our school systems start back.

I haven't heard of anything later.

When is Labour Day in the US (2005)?

I have been at the world many times in September. The crowds never seem to be too much to bear. But I can say whenever you go in September the biggest crowds will be there the days you go into the parks. Crowds are a relative thing, I have gone on rides with 90minutes wait and the same rides when I could walk right on. so unfortunately it just depends: the less time you have the bigger the crowds are going to be.
Just enjoy everything, including the people in line.
:earsboy: :earsboy: :wave2:

I've gone several times in September, and I can attest to the fact that the crowds practically disappear the Tuesday after Labor Day (which should be Sept 5 next year). We've experienced this several years in a row. I actually took pictures of the Splash Mountain and Space Mountain signs with a 0 minute wait. Yes, I'm easily entertained. ;)

This year we skipped September, though, and were lucky we did since it was Hurricane O' Rama. That concern is always a trade off for the lower crowds. That, and the fact that it's the rainy season in general, so even if there isn't a hurricane, it's likely to be wet.
