All gift cards from gc.com received and added with no issues - Chase cash back credited and Rakuten/Paypal pending, as expected. Next up is Sam’s doorstop deals on 1/2, right after my BoA custom cash quarter resets! That’ll be a total of 6 nights (2 in Feb, 4 in April, club level bounceback deals) paid for. Huzzah! I like to splurge, but I refuse to pay those freakin’ rates. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas/Boxing Day. Here’s to a great 2026!

Still don’t have my PayPal cash back from Disney Store purchases on November 25th. Even though some folks got theirs I’m worried that PayPal will just claw it back.

Silly question. The cardboard DGCs from giftcards.com, they have a barcode on them. Can CMs scan that at registers like they scan the apple wallet cards? I feel like they always have me swipe them (which I struggle to do ) and now I'm curious!

Typically, these kind of click throughs take several weeks, so I'm unconcerned. I think maybe one person on this thread had reported getting their 10% points, but that also may have been a misunderstanding between the 20% and the 10% or points being pending versus redeemed.

I got the giftcards.com deal a few days ago. I tried a few times to purchase through the PayPal app to take advantage of their offer as well, but the transaction kept getting refunded, so I finally just purchased directly through the giftcards.com site. My cards shipped on Friday, leaving from Illinois. I’m near Philadelphia, and today my cards arrived in…..Honolulu, Hawaii. I’m leaving early on the 5th so I need them delivered by Saturday the 3rd. I’ve bought some things on eBay over the past year that have been delayed for weeks at the wrong USPS processing facility. Combining that with this being their most chaotic time of the year and it adds up to me being stressed.

Amazed that these showed up, and on time, too. From Illinois to Hawaii to Philadelphia. No problem loading the cards, either.

Just another DP - used a PayPal giftcards.com offer 10 days after my Disney Store PayPal offer, and that one hasn't paid out yet either. No reason the gift cards one shouldn't pay out. So, it would appear that these PayPal offers can take a long time to pay out.

Yes the CM can scan them. Usually they just have me swipe too and then if that fails they’ll scan. Seems to just be up to the CM’s feelings in the moment. ( Joffrey’s almost all go for the scan method funny enough.I appreciate that as for some reason swiping at the Joffrey’s booths was often problematic.)

almost all web traffic is encrypted now by default, even on public WiFi. It’s not like the old days, a vpn is mostly useful for changing your apparent location so you can get around geofencing. You don’t really have to worry about people being able to see your sensitive information on unsecured networks anymore. There are always exceptions, but those usually come with a warning in your browser these days.

Yes, VPN ads are everywhere spreading misinformation in attempt to collect a monthly fee. Other than geolocation and hiding your IP when pirating content, not much use for them.

Yep I’m just waiting on the 10% Disney Store points. It’s 100 dollars though so I am impatient lol.

It certainly seems things have changed from when it last worked.

If you want a third data point, can confirm paying direct triggered the Chase offer when going through PayPal didn't.

I feel like you and I were discussing it here a few weeks ago but I never closed the loop that it did eventually post for the direct payment.

There is a DP on DoC for not 360 getting it as well so he’s was wrong about it being 360. Also it seems pretty targeted.

I bought cards from giftcards(dot)com Dec 17 and haven’t received them yet. My husband also ordered the same day and has already received them! Possibility that they are lost or just delayed shipment from holidays?

There is a DP on DoC for not 360 getting it as well so he’s was wrong about it being 360. Also it seems pretty targeted.

Doc made a mistake and now has updated his post that it is a targeted offer and not available to everyone.

Since the terms of the Paypal 10% Disney offer specifically excluded gift card purchases, no one knows if it will pay out at the end. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

The one thing that should not be done is to call paypal; if it doesn't pay out, it doesn't pay out.
