Which week in August.

I'm sure this has already been asked... I apologize if repeating.

We were originally going Aug 18-25 but have decided to move it up a week to Aug 13-20. I don't think it will make much difference crowd wise since Fl schools will have started. What do ya'll think?? According to the "touringplan", both weeks are rated as "7".

My favorite week to go to WDW in August is the last week of August NOT including Labor day weekend, so this year it would be August 19 thru August 26.

Less crowds is the main reason.

I have never been in August, but looking into it for the future as the kids are now in school. I am very aware the later, the better. Us Brits just love Orlando, with more and more going every year. We hear the US schools generally are back mid-August and its MUCH quieter.

We try to go as late in Aug as we can, and the crowds have always been manageable. We are going a little earlier this year though (18-27) so we'll see if it is any different.

You're much better off going the later of the two weeks. We're leaving August 24th (Thursday) and staying until the first, heading out on the Friday of Labor Day weekend. Same week last year. It's a lot less busy this time than early August.
