Which Value resort for 2 adults?

I did a solo at Pop and loved it. I think it might be a fun one for adults, because each of the sections themes will bring back memories of things you grew up with. I had fun looking at the displays in the lobby from each decade to see what I recognized.

I'm going solo to Pop ina few weeks! I've only stayed at POFQ & POR before, so I am hoping for a wonderful experience!

Just returned from a solo at POP and LOVED it !!! At breakfast the foodcourt is crowded so avoid it if you can , but the rest of the time it is fine !! The buses at Pop are fantastic !! I have had trouble with buses at mods and deluxes more !! Be prepared that the bus stop at MK is the furthest !! The rooms are fine especially for solo !! CMs great!! No complaints at all!!!

Thank you for the info! :thumbsup2

I'm reading the POP thread now to get a feel of the place.

Another vote here for Pop Century ... my DH and I go down twice a year (May and October) and always stay at Pop. We figure we're only in the room to sleep and shower, so why waste the extra $$ on a the amenities at a mod or deluxe if we're not going to use them. If we were going to spend more time at the resort, then we'd definitely look at a mod or deluxe.

I have a slightly different view than most on this board. While POP is a nice resort, it is about the same size as all three All Stars put together. Yes, the buses stop at all 3 All Stars, but the fact is just about as many people get on them as gets on the POP buses. I prefer the smaller and closer together configurations of the All Stars to the expansive POP. I also prefer All Star Sports, because it is the first stop on the bus route. Many mornings, the busses fill up before Movies and sometimes even Music. And, not only do they pick up Sports First, they drop off Sports first, which is really nice. So I vote for All Star Sports, with Music a close second.

But with all that said, if you can afford a moderate, I think it is well worth it, especially at POFQ. I love the intimateness of the resort and the location.

Whatever you do, you'll have fun. We've stayed at Value, Moderate and Deluxe resorts and have enjoyed all of our trips.

Another vote for Pop.:thumbsup2 We are adults only and always try to get into the Pop first and if not then any of the All Stars.

I've stayed at Movies before. It was ok, but the buses were more crowded than I would have liked. This year, we're staying at Pop for the first time. I'm looking forward to it, especially if they have their own bus!

As much as I would like to stay at a mod or deluxe, we're never in the room, so can't justify the extra money spent! We're at the park at rope drop and out most of the night. We literally just sleep for a few hours and shower in the room.
