Thanks for the info. We're flying them for the first time in December. Do they do curb-side check in at Term E? And then if we printed out our "A" boarding pass , we can go straight to the gate??
According to the Philadelphia Airport website, wwwl.phl.org , Southwest flies out of Terminal E. They do have curbside checkin so you can check in there and go right to the gate. Sometimes it pays to check inside as the inside is sometimes shorter
Wow, some say "E", some say "D" and some say "A." I say, what?!?
In my experience, it's been "D" or "E", never "A." We always get our boarding passes at home and do curbside check-in. Once we're through security, we go to our gate and wait to board. We don't wait in that long line inside at check-in.

I flew into Philly recently on SW to make a connection. My flight arrived in E and my connection left from D. I cut it kinda close by having to leave the secure area and go back through security for D. SW employee told me I had to do it that way. Is there any connection in the secure area between D & E? Does Southwest plan to ever have all their flights out of one terminal?

SW has been picking up vacant gates as they can - I'm sure they would like to get all in one terminal, but the gate situation won't allow it at this time.
