which stores allow coupons doubling

I am in New Hampshire and Shaw's doubles to .99 and Price Chopper Doubles $1 but I can't get overage. Price Chopper is different at each store though...

Publix does not double in some GA stores either.

They don't in ours here in Central GA.

I am in Atlanta and both Kroger and Publix double up to 50 cents. No other stores will that I know of.

I live in upper NH and my Shaw's doubles up to .99 and takes Internet coupons as well! I love it because this week Kix cereal is on sale for 1.99 and I have several .75/1 Kix coupons that will double to 1.50! My son loves Kix cereal so .49 a box is an awesome deal! Also they have a sale going on where if you buy 3 boxes of Kelloggs cereal, you get a catalina for a free gallon of milk up to 4.50!

Last week I bought 3 boxes of Rice Krispies, on sale 3/6.00, used 3 .50/1 coupons that doubled and also had a coupon for 1.00 off any fresh fruit when you buy 1 box of Kelloggs cereal, so I paid $3.00 for 3 boxes of Rice Krispies, 3 bananas and received a Milk catalina! Not a bad deal at all!

the rainbow foods here in the twin cities doubles coupons up to 1.00 on wednesdays and saturdays. it is only your first 5 coupons up to a buck and you have to spend 25.00 to be able to double coupons.

I am surprised to hear that other people's ACME's don't do a full double on coupons.
The ACME near me in Medford, NJ doubles coupons.

They double .75 coupons up to a $1.50 all the time for me. They even have signs saying this policy in the store.

They will double up to .99 coupon which will make it $1.98 off your bill.

We have a Copps here and they double on Wednesdays & Saturdays. Once in a great while (yesterday) they double up to 10 coupons. They can only be up to $1 and your entire order must be at least $25.

I don't know of too many grocery stores in the deep south that double anymore. They all quit in the early 90's. I was working as a cashier in high school and when it happened I was chewed out on a regular basis for a couple of months. You know it was my idea as a 16 year old right? Anyway, the poster that reported a couple in Atlanta is the first I have gathered of any down here anymore. It is very interesting to see the differences of stores from one region to another. Our Krogers certainly don't double and very rarely can I get them to take an Internet coupon.

I didn't think you could use a regular manufacturers coupon with a target coupon. Are you talking about, for example there's a target coupon for $1 off charmin, and you also have a regular manufacturers coupon for $1 off charmin, you can use them both and get $2 off?

I thought I asked about it once, and was told I could only use one...

Yes you can use the target 1.00 off coupon and a manufacture 1.00 coupon together to get 2.00 off.

Around here in ma stop n shop doubles every coupon under a dollar also shaws does too. I know at bj's club you can use there coupons and manufacture coupons on the same item

LOL.. Fake double is not a true double. We just call it fake double at our house. To be fair, a 50 cent couple is doubled to a dollar.


We use most of our coupons at true double stores *usually Wegmans*. I defnetely shop at Wegmans with my 55 cent or higher coupons.

Other NJ stores:

Pathmark - fake double
Aldi- no coupons
Big Lots -no coupons
BJ's Club- no doubling at all
Acme- fake double


CVS- no double
Riteaid No double
Dollar General no coupons
Dollar Tree- no coupons

Dollar General DOES take coupons. They don't double, though.

We have 4 waldbaums within 3 miles of our house but only one doubles (up to .99). So even among the same store some do and some don't double.

Hmm... I went to one once and there was a sign saying that they didn't accept manufacturers coupons. I guess policy changed.
