Which Savannah to Request at AKV?

We are booked for our first visit to AKV in September! I booked a Savannah View room, but noticed on another thread that the poster was "disappointed" in his Savannah View. He thought it might be related to the construction.

I've also noticed folks talking about different Savannahs. Which Savannah would be furthest away from the construction activity?

You probably want to stay away from the Sunset savanna, since it's right next to Kidani. The Uzima savanna is the farthest away. The Arusha savanna is the center one.

The Sunset Savanna is the only one effected by the construction.

This is a good question. But I am also (maybe even more) concerned about afternoon sun. Which sides of the resort or which Savannahs should you ask for if you are trying to avoid late day sun?

Stay away from sunset savannah as it's name tells you that it gets the afternoon sun (it does.) Either of the other two would be better.

I like arusha the best and sunset second best (it has the river pigs!) I don't like Uzima (or whatever it is) much at all.
