Which ride to you prefer against the other?

Someone made an interesting comment to me earlyer about DL... Then they asked out of these 8 rides which I liked better. It was "versus up'ed" how I have it below. I had a really hard time answering. So I was just wondering what you people think?

If you would, please give reason why you like your choice over the other. It will help me make mine.

Here were my choices:



Haunted Mansion vs Pirates of the Caribbean

Splash Mountain vs Thunder Mountain

Space Mountain vs Indiana Jones

Matterhorn vs Jungle Cruise

Haunted Mansion vs Pirates of the Caribbean- This was a hard one for me loving both attractions but had to go with Pirates, mostly because of the music and wonderful detailed characters.

Splash Mountain vs Thunder Mountain- Splash Mountain easily, gotta love that 50 foot drop.

Space Mountain vs Indiana Jones- Space Mountain, another tough one for me but have to go with Space Mountain here mainly because it's just an awesome ride with an awesome music track.

Matterhorn vs Jungle Cruise- Matterhorn no question about it. This Disneyland original is my favorite hands down. And it's even better at night

Splash Mountain vs Thunder Mountain - Thunder Mtn

Space Mountain vs Indiana Jones - SPACE

Matterhorn vs Jungle Cruise - JUNGLE CRUISE - the Matterhorn is way to bumpy for me to enjoy it

Thunder Mountain (although i like the WDW even more, and i like the WDW splash mountain more too, it'd be tougher to decide there.)

These weren't tough for me . But with the matterhorn and Indy its largely because they are Disneyland only.

Pirates - My favorite ride at the park
Splash - water rides are always fun, and this one is long, too
Indy - this was a tough one, cause I love them both, but I like the Indy theming
Jungle Cruise - every time I hear a new little joke by the CM, also love all the new changes made last year.

Pirates of the Caribbean (Captain Jack Sparrow ...no brainer!)

Thunder Mountain (Splash drop is too high for me)

Indiana Jones (except when Space is Rockin'! )

Matterhorn (I can only take so much of the Jungle Cruise)

Haunted Mansion vs Pirates of the Caribbean-Pirates although a tough one. The thing I like about PotC more is that the HM's dialogue can get repetative after a few rides.

Splash Mountain vs Thunder Mountain-Splash because of the ride storyline and theming. BTMRR is a fun ride, but Splash is a fun ride experience.

Space Mountain vs Indiana Jones-Tough choice here too, but I'd have to say Indy. It is my favorite ride at DLR because of the thrill and the attention to detail. Again like Splash it has a storyline and is a ride experience. Space is also a ride experience but you can't see scenery in the dark. Scenery wins this one for Indy

Matterhorn vs Jungle Cruise-Matterhorn. A fun, intense themed roller coaster>slow cheesy boat ride.

Haunted Mansion vs Pirates of the Caribbean................Pirates! I love the music and the characters. HM Rocks but between the two i'd have to pick Pirates!

Splash Mountain vs Thunder Mountain.......Thunder Mountain all the way!!!!!! Splash is ok but Thunder Mountain just plain rules! It's fast, fun, and amazing details for a roller coaster!

Space Mountain vs Indiana Jones...........Space Mountain!!!! Indiana is a bit too jolty for my tastes....I ride it but don't enjoy it a lot.

Matterhorn vs Jungle Cruise............Gonna have to go with Jungle Cruise.....assuming of course you get a good skipper! Yes I know the jokes are corny but they give me a great laugh everytime no matter how many times i've heard them!!! Look!!!! It's the Backside of water!!!!!!!

Haunted Mansion vs Pirates of the Caribbean.........Definitely Pirates. I just don't like HM. I don't like ghosts, even watered down Disney ghosts.

Splash Mountain vs Thunder Mountain.....Splash Mtn. This is my favorite ride in the park. You get thrills and cuteness all in one ride.

Space Mountain vs Indiana Jones.........This was a very tough choice for me. I love both rides. If I was made to choose, I guess it would be Indy.

Matterhorn vs Jungle Cruise.......Jungle Cruise. The cheesy puns and jokes crack me up.

POTC vs HM--If it's the normal HM, then that wins by a nose. If it's the holiday version, POTC wins by a mile.

Slpash vs Thunder--Thunder wins here. I don't dislike Splash, but I will only ride it in hot weather, while Thunder is a year-round ride.

Space vs Indy--Space wins. I like Indy, but it's pretty bumpy and I don't really enjoy being jolted around anymore.

Matterhorn vs Jungle Cruise--No question, Jungle Cruise wins. Especially with a good skipper. Again, Matterhorn is pretty bumpy.

Pirates vs. haunted mansion -- I like the drop in pirates
Splash vs. thunder - The drops!!!!! I also like the theme inside
Space vs. Indiana - I really liked this ride in the beginning of the year with the "rockin" soundtrack with the chili peppers but it is still great when its normal.
Matterhorn vs. jungle cruise - I love thrill rides!

Pirates just out sprints HM for the win.
Splash leaves big thunder in its wake.
Indiana Jones in a photo finish.
Matterhorn wins while Jungle takes a snooze and fails to get out of the starting gate.
