Which Ressie to Keep?

I'm thinking of cancelling a few ressies. It's just me and my 6 y.o dd. I did not purchase the DP because she is very picky and I really don't eat that much. This is what I have:

Dinner at LTT first night
Dinner at 1900 Park Fare
Dinner at Chef Mickey's Easter Sunday
Lunch at Akershus

I also made ressies for her to do the Wonderland Tea Party and a package at the new Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique. These are especially for her and are the mainstay.

I'm a single mom and even though I've saved for this trip, I'm starting to feel that four character meals can get pricey and maybe overwhelming as well. What do you think? If I had to keep two of the above list, which should it be? And how much will I probably spend for mostly CS/food court meals for 7 nights just for the two of us? TIA!

I would keep Chef Mickey's and 1900.

While I think LTT's food is really good, if she's picky, she'd like CM's better, plus Mickey is there which is a plus.

I don't care for Akershus unless it's breakfast, so I would choose 1900. She'll see Cindy that way and again, more to choose from for a picky eater.

The price factor is about the same so I would ask her what her favorite characters are. I guess I would get rid of LTT since CM is more of a repeat and the entertainment is alot more fun. Is the wonderland tea party at the GF too, so that would be a repeat of the same place with 1900 Park Faire. I guess you could compare the character factor there. Best of luck.

I love LTT, but out of what you have, I'd probably take that one off. Mostly for a "character" reason - you'll see pretty much the same characters at Chef Mickeys. Why not just "wing it" the first night and not have a reservation anywhere? We like the Columbia Harbour House, which is just up from LTT and across from The Haunted Mansion for a quick bite - they have chicken fingers that might work for a picky eater.

Have a great trip! :smickey:

two character meals would be plenty! the characters are throughout the parks during the day so i think she will see and enjoy enough characters - chef mickeys is fun and 1900 park fair if good plus you can ride the monorail to grand floridian and then enjoy walking around the hotel
where are you staying? there are so many good hotel food courts that would work for you and the different hotels are fun to walk around - animal kingdom lodge is very cool and so is wilderness lodge ---
have a great time!

Thank you everyone for the advice. I appreciate it. :goodvibes I'll probably take off LTT and the Princess lunch at Akershus. I think it'll be nice to just wing it the first night as suggested. We're staying at POP. Chicken fingers, hot dogs, pizza, mac and cheese are her favorites so I'm sure we won't have a problem finding that!
