Having trouble deciding whcih resort for next trip. We have stayed at Poly which we loved and BWV which we loved for the boardwalk, late night entertainment, pool bar, and the pool itself. We are DVC members and I was thinking of doing VWL next trip because I heard so many good things about it. Can anyone sell me on this idea?? In addition we have not closed our minds to any of the other resorts inc. GF and BCV. We want to stay somewhere new this time, but we enjoy having activities at the resort esp., at night when we return from the parks. Loved having the boardwalk open for this. Any suggestions?

I recently stayed at the BCV and was a little skeptical because I love the BWV. I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the change of pace. We had a first floor one-bedroom facing the woods and the BC. It was very quiet and peaceful. It seemed there were alot of common areas to sit and relax. We sat in the Solarium one day and just talked for about 1/2 hour. We loved the 5 min. walk to the International Gateway.

Walking through the lobby of BC was fun because it always seemed upbeat with activity. It is still close enough to the Boardwalk. We ate at Spoodles and hungout at ESPN and Jellyrolls many nights. We went in January so Stormalong Bay was a non-issue as it wasn't really warm enough for us to spend alot of time by the pool. I am staying at BCV again in Dec.

I have also stayed at the VWL. While we also liked the change of pace, it doesn't have the nightlife that the Boardwalk area has. In fact, 2-3 nights we cabbed it over to the Boardwalk and back.

Come on you guys!!! I know you all have opinions!!!! :goodvibes

Ohhh and don't we :-). Well I really didn't like the rooms at the VWL. I love the WL but we stayed at a studio at the VWL and I felt cramped. I think because the rooms are so dark compared with the BWV (which is our home resort) I'll stay at the WL again but not the villas. I do have to say though that I loved the lobby areas at the villas.
