What resort would you stay in for a honeymoon or a romantic getaway???Don't forget to explain why???

The Poly either magic kingdom view or lagoon view concierge! The VIEW! so romantic watching the castle change colors, and the fireworks from your balcony!!!!! The beach is great to lounge on!!! Just lay on your bed with the balcony doors open in the evening and in the morning!!! Ahhhh, I wish we were there!

Two resorts come to mind. One is POFQ, there are so many little areas that just invite you to be romantic. You can take a carriage ride at POR, where there is a gazebo.

The other would be GF. It has a wedding chapel and a beach, how much more romantic can it get?

Definately the GF if you like an upscale environment. It has beautiful surroundings and the service is one of the best (consistently) for a WDW property.

CSR!! Very romantic resort, especially at night.

We honeymooned at the Grand Floridian with a Magic Kingdom view and really had a special time together. The Polynesian would be another good choice.

I am not married ( I'm 16) but I could tell you the most romantic place to stay at. The Grand Floridian, but here's why. We went during my parents anniversary on our last trip and the GF went out of its way to accomodate them. First on the night of their anniversary they went back to the resort early and they came in to find that the GF had left them a Disney happy anniversary card with character autographs and a bottle of champagne to go with it. I would also say the GF because of the romantic features it has. Such as, the beach which provides you with the perfect view of the lagoon and a romantic evening with a loved one, as well as the view of the MK Wishes fireworks which of course is romantic in and of itself, and finally the wedding pavilion which provides you with a view of the castle in or out of the pavilion. Then if you are not yet married you or your spouse could get down on one knee and propose to you while in sight of the castle. That is why the GF and I know this from my family experiences.

We wanted to honeymoon at the WL. My friend did it and she had a wonderful time. However, we couldn't do it at the time so we stayed off-site and had just as good a time. Anyway, I would think it romantic to sit in front of the fireplace and just lounge around. Depending on the time of year, it can really be nice. We're going for our 2nd anniversary/2nd honeymoon this year which is Dec 4 so it's already decorated for Christmas which I find extremely romantic. What's even better is that we're doing MVMCP the night of our anniversary and eating a nice dinner at Whispering Canyon before we go. That's my idea of romantic.
