when I can't read alpha-numeric postings right the first time.

I thought at first glance you had 4 infants.

Your budget and preferences really make a difference on where you choose.

I would read through all the resorts and understand the pricing and amenities and then post a few of your top choices for opinions.

You can go to the main page from this site and do this. I was just reading on resorts yesterday trying to decide for next June.

Welcome to the DIS! You made a nice pick in the Grand Floridian. Any of the monorail resorts would work for you since you probably will want to go back to the rooms for naps.

with a baby - you main park will be the MK. So I would stay at the Cr.

now GF is great. I really like the Polyn the best.

but for quick access and exit to the MK you can't beat CR. You can actually walk to the MK from CR. You can't from the GF or Polyn.

that say if this is more a grow-up trip - I would go with the BC. It is close enough to walk to Epcot and take the boat to Studios.

Sure, GF is a great option with an infant. Poly and CR are also on the monorail and also great options.

To put another spin on things, you may want to consider looking at the Epcot resorts to see if they are your taste -- BWI, YC, BC. When our twins were infants, they didn't care which parks we went to most often, so we chose to stay at the Epcot resorts because there is SO much to do and see over there, plus it's a gorgeous area to take walks. These resorts are within walking distance from both Epcot and MGM. And you have great dining options within walking distance.

With infants, I would choose any monorail resort as the top 3 choices. The transportation factor does eat a lot of time.

GF is a fabulous choice! It's our pick when we're on the monorail. Getting the twice daily maid service is very helpful too, keeping the clean towel inventory up!

I agree that if you do not have a reservation for the GF yet for December, then you might start checking, because some dates are already booked up.

The GF in December is wonderful, by the way!

When my youngest was 5 months we stayed at the Dolphin. Loved being able to walk to Epcot and MGM or take the boat. Loved having the BW area there for additional dining options. It was perfect for us (and our 4 year old was happy as well).

LOL! I thought that too. I was thinking to myself, "Wow, someone is brave to go to WDW with infant quads!"

Ditto. With a 3-yr old & a 7 week old, at the Swan we felt like everything was within walking distance. Gorgeous walks around the Swan, Dolphin, BC/YC & Boardwalk areas. Also the room at the Swan was very spacious to accomodate the crib.

my only request with an infant would be a top floor room... no one above you bouncing a ball or stomping their feet or moving the furniture!

I'd say the Poly, but then I am partial to it. I like the ability to take the monorail to my 2 favorite parks.

But it all depends on which parks you plan to do the most.

If you are planning more time at Epcot/MGM, I'd stay at one of the deluxe's there. Otherwise any of the monorail resorts.

I hate taking the buses with a stroller so the less I can do it, the better. We even take the bus to MGM in the am, then we leave at lunch time but we take the boat to Epcot, have lunch there & then monorail it back 'home'.

Oh, I like a bottom floor room. The reason I like it is because when the baby is napping in the room, you can lock your main door & sit out on your balcony.

DH & I would take turns leaving with out having to open/close the main door to our room & risk waking up the baby at the time.

I thought you meant 4 infants as well...good grief!
I hope you have a great trip!

I don't know what the best resort with infants is but I know if you're going to Disney in Dec. you have to stay at the GF. It looks beautiful during Dec. There is a gingerbread house that sells cookies and you can take a picture of your baby in front of it for Christmas cards. :santa: There is also a rose garden that is pretty for Christmas cards too. There is a tv corner where your baby can watch tv. At the GF they put little chocolates on your pillow at night. See if you can get the Sugar Loaf building which is Concierge. Every day there will be snacks and drinks there. If you come back to Sugar Loaf after dinner or the parks and have a bit of a sweet tooth there are desserts waiting for you. I have stayed at the GF beffore in Dec. and loved it. If I ever go back in Dec. I'll be sure to stay there.:)

The GF is a great choice. We have stayed at the Contemporary and the Swan/Dolphin when our children were infants. They are much less expensive than GF, especially if the S/D is offering a special discount. CR and GF are a little easier to get to MK than the Poly. Any of the Epcot area resorts are about equally accessible to Epcot and MGM. And Swan/Dolphin is an Epcot area resort as well as the two Disney resorts. The monorail and the Epcot area resorts will let you easily go back to your room for an afternoon nap. It's also nice to be able to take either the monorail or the Epcot resort boat, so you don't have to fold up the stroller for a car or a bus. YOU MUST TAKE YOUR OWN STROLLER WITH AN INFANT.

Epcot was our favorite park to go to when we went with just 1 6-month old. At that age, the baby doesn't really care what park you go to, so go where you and your husband want to go.
