Which Resort - Help Me Decide !

HI;

As new DVC'ers we are SO excited about going to Disney. Planning now for next year. We are going first week of Feb so it's not high season. We own at BCV but I have been pondering which resort to stay at. In early Feb. it MAY not be warm enough to swim (?) so I was not considering resort pools. Kids will be 5 & 7. WE DEFINITELY want a 2 br with a queen in one room and two beds in the second. Do not want pull out sofa in second. NON-SMOKING. Also would like a great view (whatever that may be!)..Also, kids would like going to play in the drop off kids area while we go out to dinner - don't know which resort has the better kids drop off play area...
One more thing - we may move after the first night from a studio to a 2 br. Does any resorts offer a lockout with the beds the way I have listed above ?

Assume you meant to say King in one room and two beds in the second. All the 2 bedrooms have a king size bed in the Master Bedroom.

You can rule out the BWV. All the 2 bedroom units there are lock offs and have 1 queen and a pull out sofa in the second bedroom.

OKW, BCV & VWL all have some 2 bedrooms that fit the bill. OKW has the largest number. Both BCV & VWL have only limited numbers of these. You need to reserve early to get one. Not sure about SSR bedding arrangement(s) in the second bedroom.

All the resorts have mostly non-smoking rooms. Be sure to request that first if it is important to you.

Don't believe OKW, VWL or SSR has a kids club on site. BCV does.

Views are subjective - IMHO, all the resorts have good views and bad views. No guarantees that you would get either one, LOL. You just have to make your request and hope for the best.

Yes, all studios at OKW will have 2 queen beds. No studios there have a sleep sofa.

The OKW resort lockout studios still have the two beds in them. If you're looking to start in a studio and switch to the 2-B/R, OKW is your best bet. If you do it right, the Studio you stay in the 1st night can become the 2nd B/R when you go to the 2-B/R unit and this way you wouldn't have to move. In the 2-B/R villa, the M-B/R would have a King bed, not a Queen.
