Which part of the fantasy ship are good?

You are in your room to get dress and do the five things that start with the letter S. Nothing wrong with a inside room imo. I been on 19 cruises 15 have been inside. 2 port holes and 2 verendah.

Not entirely true. We spend a good bit of time in our room. That's something to take into account when choosing a room along with budget. I don't think there are any "bad" rooms, just different preferences and how and where you spend your time.

Maybe for some people but I don't go on a cruise to spend a lot of time in the room.

My tip for you Deck 2 folks is free room service!! They charge for pop but we always order extra juice at breakfast, and you can get room service water and tea. Keep it in the fridge, its healthier than pop anyway lol.

That's my point. If you don't spend a lot of time in your room, an inside room may be perfectly suitable for you. If you spend a lot of time in your room as we do, we find it nicer to have a balcony and larger room. It's difficult for one person to say what's best for another without taking those preferences into account.

My daughter and I stayed in 2023 on the Dream which has the same layout as the Fantasy. We loved it so much that we are staying in 2515 on the Fantasy in October. She loved the virtual porthole and we loved the convenience to the 3rd and 4th decks where so much happens. Deck 2 also seemed quiet because there are so many less staterooms than on other decks. We only had two people in our room though. It sounds like you will have 4. An inside stateroom might be a bit cramped with 4 of you--something to consider. They are the smallest rooms.

I also found it was not hard to get an elevator from deck 2. Becuase most everyone gets off on Deck 3 they would be empty. If by chance we were wanting an elevator from deck 3 we found ourselves taking the atrium stairs down to deck 2 and then up from there.

I would have to agree with this. We also got the veranda room and really enjoyed spending alot of time on the balcony. I loved getting away from the crowds. For me, I couldn't do an inside room. It's certainly a matter of preference.
