Looking for some feedback on which parks are busiest on which days. I'll be there July 3-12th.

This is my current plan.

Saturday - Disney Quest/Downtown Disney
Sunday (the4th) - Epcot
Monday - Sea World
Tuesday - Magic Kingdom
Wednesday - Animal Kingdom
Thursday - Islands of Adventure
Friday - MGM/MK
Saturday - Universal
Sunday - Free
Monday - Go Home

What do you guys think?

allearsnet is a great resource for this type of info:

Historical attendance shows that July is a high attendance month. Also
A recent inquiry of Disney regarding which days to visit which parks had the following response:
"During regular attendance periods, our parks tend to be the busiest on the following days:

Magic Kingdom: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday

Epcot: Tuesday and Friday

Disney-MGM Studios: Sunday and Wednesday

Disney's Animal Kingdom: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday"

It looks like you have a good plan. Epcot seems like a good choice for the fourth since they are still doing the Illuminations with the added bonus of character meet-and-greet throughout the day (in colonial costumes). While that's a unique event I don't think it would be the most popular. Here's a link to the Fourth of July Celebrations going on in the World. Universal will probably be fairly crowded on Saturday, but just about anything you choose will be busy that day, so just be prepared for longer lines.

HTH and Have a magical trip!

Isnt what park you choose to do on which day, going to depend on whether these EMH and extra hours that are being trialed take off?

I thought I had my plan all worked out...but I will have to look again if the hours to the parks change. ::MinnieMo

I would swap the IoA day and the the free day....I think you're gonna need a down day in the middle or you'll all get pretty worn out. It is really exhausting.

I agree with cruisinfamily, you are gonna be pretty tired. You'll need a vacation from your vacation...lol!

I really like the idea of getting a free day in the middle. Why didn't I think of that? You guys are so great!

If the new trial run goes well, these days will probably change.

What exactly is the new trial that WDW is doing. I've heard it mentioned in other threads, but I'm not sure what they are doing.

Do you have the scoop?

I may be the minority here but I never plan a full day at AK I get there when it opens (EE) for the safari then work my way back up front and hit the pool or one of the water parks cuz i'm usually fried by mid day.
