We usually go to Epcot on Sat. or Sun. it maybe as crowded as the other parks (except for MK) but because of the large, spread out design,it doesn't feel as crowded even on Christmas Day.
In April, contrary to popular belief at the time, Saturday was great day at MK. It was a LOT less busy than the evening EMH at MK on Thursday night. Saturday was the day after EMH at MK. Sunday seems to be a busy day at both Epcot and MK.
IMO plan to go to any park the day after its EMH day.
I second that. I think it is more important to have a general plan of how you will go about it, for example, knowing which rides are most full in the early morning, mid morning, late morning, early afternoon, etc. I think the entire "Which park on which day" is too played out for me because you can't be at all 4 parks at the exact same time so nobody really knows. And even though it says the least crowded day, that only means out of the other days for that same park. It depends on the day, the weather, etc. on which park gets it the worst.
We are usually traveling on Saturday so I can't say that I have ever done one of the parks on Saturday. Last week, we went to AK on Sunday and we were able to get everything done that we wanted and then hopped over to MGM and had a blast there as well. Crowds were at a minimum or at least that is how it felt.
