Which parks are better for Early Entry?

This is our first time during a season that has so much offered at night- Fantasmic, Spectro, E-ride night, Illuminations, Electrical Water Pageant- (we've never seen Fantasmic or spectro or done an E-ride night). My first plan was do the early entry every day, but I don't think that is going to be feasible if we are out late the night before. We have 3 kids and 2 senior citizens. Which parks were you really glad you did the early entry? OR should we just plan on every person absolutely taking a REAL NAP so we can do the night stuff AND the early entry? We will be there for 6.5 days.

We always try to do the EE at MK. During busier seasons it is almost a must. Get in early, ride, then out by noon or 1pm. Head to another park or back to the resort for an afternoon rest.
Then the rest of the day at another park.:)

AK is another EE day we do! It seems the animals are more active very early in the AM. So we head to the safari very first thing! Then with fast pass the rest of the park is easy to see. Just really pay attention to the scheduled times of the shows and fast pass returns. Once we did not pay attention to the return time on the FP for the safari......worked out that we had to choose between it and the Lion King show (the next LK show was later in the afternoon and by then it would have been scorching hot!!!). We went to the LK show and came back the next day for the safari.

Epcot, it isn't really neccessary to do EE. The only benefit is to see Test Track....but instead go early on a non-EE day and get FP.

MGM....that is a toss up.... We have done both. Depending on expected crowds and if we had a late night.

In any case....if you are NOT doing EE...then go to ANOTHER park. Don't show up at MK on an EE day at 11am!!

We also plan an early night before an EE day.

Have fun!!!

MK is definitely worth it.

You can get so much done in Fantasyland for that hour!

I have to agree with MK. This is the one park that I feel EE is a must every trip. Last summer when EE was gone in favor of the character bus I really missed EE at MK. I have done EE at both Epcot and MGM and would only do MGM again. If you will ride TOT and RnR then try to do EE.

You only need to do EE with MK. Maybe MGM if you're going during a busy time. If not, just go early (park opening) on a non-EE day for MGM.

with young kids MK is a must, head right to Fantasy Land and go wild. You can do everything in the 1+ before the crowds start to get big, then head to fastpasses. MGM & E are not big EE days for us, normally don't need them that much. We have not done AK EE before but will try it this next trip.

I don't think EE is worth the trouble anywhere except MK. There are just so many things open then at MK, but at other parks, where there are only 1 or 2 E-tickets, you might as well go at opening on a non-EE day.

On the other hand, nights at any of the parks are special, so that also counts toward skipping most of the EEs.

Definitely MK, any time.

If you're going during the summer, then AK EE is also worth it because the animals are out a lot more before it gets hot. If you're not going in the summer, then it wouldn't be worth it.

MK and AK. When we've used EE at MK, we have done all the major rides by Noon and leave when the crowds get bad. At AK, we love being on one of the first safaris! We usually see the lion roar when we catch an early safari. AK is a joy before it gets crowded. The animal viewing is more personal.:bounce:
