...first? second?

We are going early February and leaving before President's weekend. It will be me, DH, DS 10, DS 9, and DD 16mos. We have 7day PHP's and 8 full days (not counting arrival and departure days). We are planning 2 days for MK, 1 day for AK, 1 day for MGM, and 1 day for Epcot--that way we have a couple of relaxation days in the middle somewhere, and an extra day to go back and pick up something we missed/want to see again.

My question is...what order would you see the parks in? Our kids have never been before, so it will all be new for them.

I had originally planned:
Wed - MK
Thurs - AK
Fri
Sat- Epcot
Sun
Mon- MGM
Tues- MK
Wed

But, DH says we should do Epcot first and save MK until the final Tues and Wed. He thinks the kids will enjoy the other parks more if they haven't been to MK yet. HELP!!

What do you do? (We will NOT be doing EMH.)
Thanks!!!! :p

our tentative plans...

Mon - arrival day DTD
Tues - MK
Wed - MGM
Thurs- waterpark day, Epcot World Showcase at night
Fri - Epcot including 3:00 Ice Cream social PS
Sat - AK
Sun - open for whatever we want to do again

Still keeping our fingers crossed for a Chef Mickey PS

me again-

Ous Disney trip always starts at MK. I could not imagine it any other way!

Depends on where I am staying... I usually stay on the Epcot side so I always go to the countries first especially with an AP... but if I had limited visits and small children, I would probably go to MK first.....to little ones WDW is the Magic Kingdom... then of course, this is my opinion.... Good luck with your decision... either way, you are going to have a blast..

momxx5, That's how I feel -- though I guess I can understand what DH is thinking...?!

"I" won't feel right until I see the castle! LOL

DH almost never gives any input on family trips, however. It's always up to me to do all the planning--consequently, we always do everything "my way." So, I hate to disagree with him now.

He wants to do Epcot, AK, MGM, then MK. Of course, he has no suggestions as to which days, just in that order.
