which park to leave out???????

Thanks all!!!
We are from the UK and in disney wed-wed then off to the gulf coast(captiva) so we have only 6 days to do the parks. also travelling with us are our 20yr old and 15yr old so as you can see we need to keep a wide age group happy!!!!!!!!!!
And thats not counting DH and MIL!!!
Only option is to be se,ective:Pinkbounc

Epcot is a great park. Have only been to Seaworld in the Cleveland area. When in doubt, choose the park that has::MickeyMo

I would say to skip Sea World. I feel that if you leave Disney you'll be leaving the Disney magic as well. I have two dd's , ages 4 and 7 and they love Epcot. They love walking through the different countries, Spaceship Earth, Journey through the Imagination, The Living Seas, and my 7 year old loves Test Track. In my opinion, there's lots there for kids. They have interactive things inside the attractions and then there's Illuminations. I could go on and on.

SeaWorld is ok (I get free tickets through my dad because he's an Anheuser Busch employee) but I think Epcot is much more kid and adult friendly. Kids like rides and SeaWorld only has 2 that it offers and the roller coaster is scary (and I'm 21 and LOVE thrill rides!). I also agree with losing that Disney Magic...I personally think you'll be cursed (trust me, I had a freak $250 accident with a cell phone while at SeaWorld...most expensive free tickets I've ever had!) Enjoy your trip!

Considering the age range of your party, I would think that EPCOT is more appropriate. Sea World has so much to offer - great shows, marine related exhibits, and even a few rides - but I find that it lacks the ability to engage everyone at the same time for more than a few minutes. If the young adults wanted to ride Atlantis, the older adults and younger child will have to look elsewhere for entertainment. The shows usually split your party into those who want to get wet and those who don't. And one can only wait in so many lines to see FISH! That said, we'll visit SW again, but always with a small, focused group...EPCOT gives more options for everyone, especially the WS. While the older adults may enjoy shopping or a film/show, the younger adults can ride the thrill rides (which also have exhibit areas for those not able to ride) and there are Kidcot Stations and a new Goody Scavenger Hunt for the young ones. Besides, the food options alone are worth admission. You should also check out how the UK is represented at EPCOT...Let us know what you decide!

Well, we just got back from our trip with 11, 8 and 4 year-old. We did the 4 Disney parks and Sea World. We all loved Sea World. I definitely highly recommend it. It was great.

I would skip Epcot if you have to choose.

I think what I will do is buy the hopper passes for Disney/universal/IOA in advance then if we exhaust them!!! pay for a day at seaworld whilst there. Does that seem sensible!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Nothing at all against Sea World, it's a wonderful park and a nice break from all things Disney (gasp! I know, I know, but getting away for a day makes the Disney Magic that much more magical!)

BUT, given the age ranges of those you're trying to keep happy, I think EPCOT is your best bet. I loved Epcot as a 7 year old (of course, I was -and still am- a big geek) and I think some adults sell it short, thinking it could only appeal to adults.

Whatever you pick, you'll have fun, so don't worry too much about it! And also, try to take breaks in the afternoon away from the parks. 6 days of park touring in a row is going to take a lot out of all of you, you'll need the breaks if you want to make it through the week!

Have a great trip, and welcome to the US!
