which parades to go to???

If we can only do one afternoon parade, which one is best for two boys, 4&6, AK, MGM or MK? We are planning to arrive at the parks bright and early and will most likely head back to hotel in afternoon but I would like to take in at least one. Thanks in advance

My heartfelt advice would be to take in the parade on the day in the park when you have the energy to be there, the weather is good, the kids are still doing all right.... Life at WDW, especially when traveling with young children, is so much better when you can be flexible and have a broad plan (we'll aim to see one parade!) rather than rigid (we HAVE to see the MK parade! Today!). All the parades have their own charms, and I honestly think you'd be happiest seeing the one on the day that you have the energy to see it. One aspect of parades that "can" be tough for little ones: in order to see and sit down, you'll want to scope a spot out a bit ahead, so that involves some waiting for the parade to start, and that can be difficult and boring. So really, all the more reason to see when/where/if opportunity strikes and go with the flow. Have a great trip!

I've missed many parades on my visits but NEVER EVER miss the ones at MK... something about the floats coming down mainstreet with the castle in the background... it's where DW all started. It always feels more like the characters' home to me... just my suggestion...

With boys your age, I'd recommend either the MGM parade or Jammin Jungle at AK. I LOVE the Jammin' Jungle parade, it's very fun and peppy and I love the tall puppets and stilt walker guys. The one at MGM is good too, lots of boy stuff and Pixar characters and I think the Power Rangers? Or the Green Soldier guys from Toy Story?
The MK parade is great too, but it is more "princessy" than the AK or MGM parade, more classic Disney...that's why I think your kids will like MGM or AK parades a little better. They are all good though!

I would suggest Mickey's Jammin' Jungle parade. It's something different from the other parades.

We loved them ALL, so I don't think you can go wrong! The Jammin Jungle Parade is really different than the rest, but the cars are cool at MGM and the MK is classic. I didn't give you much help- but you won't be disappointed no matter what you do!

The Jammin Jungle Parade is my favorite daytime parade and probably the most fun for boys.

Another vote for Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade at AK. Our kids (and us "adult-kids") love this parade, especially the way some of the characters and performers would walk right up to the kids and interact w/ them. Plus the music is great.
