We are going to be at WDW in December. Right now we are staying at CSR, but I'm just not feeling it. My other options are Riverside and CBR. Any thoughts? DBF's first time. No kids on this trip. Thanks!

With no kids how about POFQ? It is small and quiet. You would still have the fabulous boat ride to DTD too.

We have stayed at POFQ & CSR. CSR has great bus service POR shared with POFQ. buses were always crowded. I think there will be more kids at POR, with the new Royal rooms.

We enjoyed our stay at CSR, if you do not have a car then hands down I would pick CSR. If you have a car then I would pick POR.

Unfortunately FQ isn't an option for the room only discounts. That would have been my first choice.

Nuts! Ok then, POR. I haven't stayed at CBR yet (will be in December!) but everything I have read about it says that little kids love it! So maybe you should stay away! Also, Yeehaw Bob at POR is awesome! Plus, POR feels very peaceful too as long as you stay away from the main pool area. And the main buildings when Yeehaw Bob is on!

POR is nice but for an Adults only Trip, CSR is great. It's more Grown Up, good dining options and Inside and Outside Bars, very good bus service, nice Main Pool and lovely quiet pools and Hot Tub ( hot tub is located a bit away from the Main pool so not quite as crazy, POR's Hot Tub is so very close to the Pool) The Rooms have that Deluxe Feel without the Deluxe Resort Price tag. The Grounds are beautiful, wonderful Atmosphere, love it

POFQ would be the first option but that is obviously not an option for you. FWIW, we have stayed there 5 times and never once had to share a bus with POR.

CSR is beautiful and the food is good. The only downside for some people is that the place is huge. We like to walk but some may not! We hated the buses at CSR because of all the stops.

Totally agree. Bus was great at CSR! I do love POR a bit more than CSR. But for adults with no car for sure CSR. if you have a car, POR for sure. Love the boat to dtd.

We love POR and can't wait to go back in Feb. We had originally booked CSR which we have never stayed at. There were no available military discounted rooms at POR at that time. After doing a lot of reading I decided CSR wasn't the resort for us. I was reading way more negative stuff about it than any other moderate resort we were looking into. Plus, they only have one sink and I need double sinks with this crew. I called back after a couple weeks of the "just not feeling it" feeling and told them we'd take any other mod except CSR or the Cabins. Lucky for us POR was then available. I'm very excited to be going back and feel 100% better about the upcoming trip. So I vote POR.
