Which Moderate CSR or CBR?

I need advice. My best friend and I just decided to do the food and wine half marathon. We have decided to stay in a moderate hotel because that fits in our budget. Port Orleans is the moderate hotel for the race but only has king rooms avaible under the current discount. I wanted to book something by the 27th when the current discount offer expies so that leaves me with the choice of CSR or CBR and I have idea which one I should book. Any advice?

I have never stayed at CSR but I have stayed at CBR and we absolutely love it there. It has caribbean themeing - white, sandy beaches with hammocks and friendly ducks, quiet pools in each section, beautiful tropical colors and foliage, two hot tubs and a new main pool, a good food court and gift shop, large size rooms with two double beds with two double sinks with extra storage under them. We have always had good bus service and we either request Jamaica or Aruba which is a short walk over the bridge to the food court and pool. We are going in July and again staying at CBR. I am sure CSR has great qualities too but my family doesn't want try any other resort. Good luck with your decision. And I am sure you will be happy at either resort.

We love CSR. I would say look at pictures of both and see which theme appeals to you more. Also if you want queen beds, then you'd have to go with CSR because CBR has doubles.

Another vote for CSR. I think the queen beds are definately worth it and I like the rooms much more than the CBR. I would look at the pictures on Disneyworld.com to get an idea of the hotels. However, I would go with CSR. Good luck with your decision.

I am thinking of going with the CSR because of the queen size beds. They both look like very nice resorts. I think I am having such a hard time deciding because I really have no preference of one over the other.
Hopefully they will offr free dining this spring and we can switch to the Port Orleans. That way we won't have to figure oyut transportation to and from the race.

I have stayed at CSR 2 times and am also staying there in May.

I absolutely love it. Theres a great theme to the resort! The room are great and comfortable, the food is wonderful at the Pepper Market. We eat breakfast there every morning. It has a very good selection. Buses also run pretty frequently. The main pool is beautiful, but the queit pools are just as nice and so relaxing.

There is also a lot of water activites on the lake.

I would say that you definitely get more than your money with staying at CSR.

Thanks for the responses. I just booked a standard view room at CSR
Now I just have to figure out how to get from Epcot to the hotel after the race at 2am. Hopefully we will be able to take a taxi.
